Firwood ', it’s just been mainly childish comments.'
Out of the horse's mouth......lol
Anyway, I bet my dad is bigger than your dad !!
There’s been very little well structured anything going on here lately, eh friend, it’s just been mainly childish comments.
Mr8008, we are all entitled to hold our own opinions - however, we should all be open minded enough to listen to well structured arguments that are substantiated by fact
If and when the facts change, then so can opinions
sandyshore459,
I admit that what you said is based on facts. However, based on the facts you said, we cannot conclude that the company has not made any development and progress, and we cannot hold a negative attitude towards the company’s future.
Post Of The Day 8008!
Other investors are either too rational or emotionally negative. Positive Irrationality is what you need to invest here eh?
Happy Friday!
Mr8008 'I found that some vast investors are too rational about investment'
So it would be irrational to invest in VAST? Is that what you are saying?
Mr008: you referred to "negative emotions" and now you refer to investors who are "too rational". This doesn't make sense. You are basically just saying that people should be irrationally positive. This is spectacularly absurd and a really abysmal line of advice, IMO. Let's talk about FACTS.
1. The company took out a finance (with Atlas) in January 2020, saying that the start of production was targeted for 6 months from drawdown, i.e. July. But the annual report later acknowledged that production did not start till October. In between, there was a bridge failure.
2. The company repeatedly claimed in its presentations and interviews that Baita Plai would achieve operating profit within either 1, or 2, or 3 months (depending which presentation or interview). From October to now is 8 months and there is still no sign of operating profit. Instead, much talk of a new mining plan which will lead us to the Promised Land.
3. In January, as I recall, the company issued an RNS in which it claimed that production and sales were on track as projected. This claim has since proven to have no obvious connection to the truth whatsoever.
4. In March last year, the company was reportedly on the brink of signing its joint venture for diamonds in Zimbabwe. 15 months later, no joint venture.
5. In December last year, a major bank was expected to offer a refinance. 6 months later, no re-finance.
These are FACTS. The market knows these facts, which is why the share price has completely collapsed and a consolidation occurred.
Now, this might make Vast a very good recovery play. But for that recovery play to go well, the company will need to show that it has got its act together. To do that, it must DELIVER. There is new mine management team at Baita Plai, with 3 proper specialists (as of this May) to run it. And in a time of pandemic, a lot can be forgiven - even though these delays actually owe quite a lot to things *other* than Covid, quite frankly.
The big question is how the company navigates the next 6-8 months, and whether it finally delivers or just keeps staggering from one false dawn to the next. You seem to advocate irrational positivity. Don't be surprised if others think that's foolish.
Mr8008 'Vast has developed into a company that produces copper concentrates and generates cash flow since October last year. This is a turning point for Vast. Therefore, investors cannot look at vast companies today from the point of view a few years ago'
In case your research is limited, a few years ago, VAST was producing copper concentrate and generating cash flow
I found that some vast investors are too rational about investment. If vast announces all the good news, it will eliminate the doubts of rational investors about the company, but the company’s stock price has increased many times. Then rational investors can only buy company stocks at high prices.
The company has a development and growth process. Vast has developed into a company that produces copper concentrates and generates cash flow since October last year. This is a turning point for Vast. Therefore, investors cannot look at vast companies today from the point of view a few years ago.
ericeric,
you lack correct judgment on the fundamentals of vast. This is because your negative emotions interfere with your judgment.
The shrinking trading volume shows that investors' willingness to buy and sell is not strong. Investors are watching and waiting for news.
It fell yesterday. Rise today.
