Greatland Gold investors were adamant that the stock was being shorted...turned out it was by those delightful people at Goldman Sachs
yeah. loads of hedge funds all over this. jesus christ on good friday
Short positions under 0.5%.
Often wondered if there are short positions in many of my AIM shares .
Although individually kept secret below 0.5% there might be a few hedge funds over that between them.

Nice little you tube vidio from 3 weeks ago for traders ( which I am not )
0.44? tis but a flesh wound!
Isn't there some kind of Op update due here?
0.44p today ( back around the 26th September 2022 placing price )
Two months since last look here 59 x 100 posts since .
The spike at end of January took it to 0.79p .
Hindsight !
Below are details of the number of securities in issue, the number of securities held in treasury shares and, insofar as the Company is aware, the percentage of security that is not in public hands, together with the identity and percentage holding of significant shareholders.
The number of ordinary shares in issue: 2,281,643,324 as of 15 November 2022.
There are no shares held in treasury.
Percentage of shares not in public hands: as of 15 November 2022, 0.86% of the Company’s securities were not in public hands.
42% of shares in issue have been traded today asked Judge-mental , I have no idea .
Maybe a terrific example of buying into a rising share price , as just seen this closed up 160% taking off in last hour .
How I wish I had topped up here yesterday in place of SCLP in the ISA.
Maybe it can climb as quickly as it fell .
You could not get a 160 % fall in ashare price .
No idea if ordinary inverters could of got a short position in it .
Am i right in thinking that 5/12 th's or 42% of shares in issue have been traded today ?? Thats kinda huge is it not ? :) hey my maths could be out also :)
It is now above the Placing of 26th September 2022 That RNS stated .
"To raise £656,000 and Baita Plai Operational Update @ 0.4p" Share price down 20% spread 10%.
Mid 0.42p .
"To cover operations over next two weeks" did not sounding good .
We are four months on from that now.
Todays RNS ..Interim Results: 1 May 2022 – 31 October 2022.
Up another 50%.. 5% spread . 0.44p
Had a little look out of curiosity it did go above the upper band from 8.30am to 11am on the day chart .
But after back within it .
Bollinger bands consist of a centre line and two price channels (bands) above and below it. The centre line is an exponential moving average; the price channels are the standard deviations of the share being studied. The bands will expand and contract as markets become more or less volatile.
Up 60% today to 0.36 at 11am , not seen that since 21/10/22 slightly more then 3 month high .
I wonder if it has broken through these bands now .
VirgoVigo1 post on Friday "Is not breaking through bollinger bands".. ( maybe 20/1/23 )
Rns this morning and up 40% to 0.25p at 8.30am , 0.21p by 9.30am ( up 10% with 9% spread )
I read VirgoVigo1 post on Friday "Is not breaking through bollinger bands".. ( have not looked at those for years )
And British Bulls calls since August 2022 17 suggestions of which only 7 were correct .
Buying shares in company's involved in share gambling might be a better bet .
Dropped back to 0.17 on the 9/1/23 .
Back around the 0.2 today , spread closed a little at 11%
AIM .
25% rise today ( 17% spread ) share price 0.2p .
When I last had a look 22 November 2022 they were higher at 0.23p .
Buy the end of December 2022 they bottomed at 0.16p ( with the spread one might of picked them up 0.18p )
Most short term traders lose money the evidence shows .
Hi InvestingGenius you posted "Nice write up. Balanced" a wile ago can you say were that was from , I find it difficult getting any information form a professional journalist on this one .
Ownership not easy to see , no fund managers ? one big investor from the Wirral
Saw a video yesterday which said 4 days ago , but when I watched seemed to be an investment night with AJ bell of two years ago .
Last time I had a look on 26th September 2022 , I was not sure they would be trading in two weeks time .
I had another look at share price history on 30/10/12 the price was 248p on 28/2/13 447p the charts show, which must take into consideration consolidations .
Can shares I have bought and held onto for years come back after massive falls ?
I have owned SQZ for as long , Chart shows they were 3.3p March 2015 , 450p August 2022.
They started to pick up December 2017 I must of stuck with them as was still under , then they really took off August 2021 .
Fortunately in hindsight only started top slicing SQZ this year .
Maybe there is hope .
I did like reading Castaway on here , I did not think he was a trader like others have pointed out , but I know nothing about other posters on BB .
You have to hope some are genuine .
I didn’t invest a great amount when I started but still disappointing to see the Shareholders being taken for a ride .
If this goes up at all by Friday then I will sell out with my tail between my legs .
Placing to raise £656,000 and Baita Plai Operational Update @ 0.4p Share price down 20% spread 10%.
Mid 0.42p .
To cover operations over next two weeks not sounding good .
Lloyds was my first share about 13 years ago, purchased for the divi to offset my bank charges lol. HUR I initially purchased in Dec 2019 at I think 35p though I may be wrong without looking. Panicked at the crunch in 2021 and sold at a massive loss which is unlike me, as it's not usually in my nature to panic then bought back after the court case @0.8 and I'm still holding at a massive profit. Interesting times for HUR and if the BoD get their act together and communicate with their investors I can see great things coming over the next month or so.
I hold two of the shares on your pie chart asimpleinvestor .
When did you buy lloyds and HUR ?
I was in the first before the banking crises only woodford called that well lol .
I have been investing for years , had different experiments over time .
First got into VAST when a broker working for SVS said he was keen on it , later found out they held a lot of small shares in principle so wanted to shift after a fund raise .
I used to like reading Casterway on this one always bullish , but never thought a ramper , you can not tell .
Know one knows nothing on of my favorite share quotes.
But if you hold and I ever get back the paper losses you will have a ten bagger .
Indeed, I'm lucky and in profit. The length of time a person holds an investment is irrelevant nor the price purchased at nor indeed the size of the shareholding. The important part is that equity has been invested. I will be keeping my investment a while longer as I see potential and I'm in no great hurry to sell.
