"I can't believe how badly these AIM companies are managed and how the CEOs and CFOs stay out of prison quite honestly" - if you think this is bad look at the story of Ienergizer. The owners accrued over 75% of the shares, de-listed from AIM and left everyone else with a collapsed share price and no likely prospects of ever again getting a decent price for their shares. Even big name fund managers got caught and could do nothing about it, and in essence what they had done was not illegal !
This is why a lot of companies are on AIM because no other way of financing what doesnt look like a good proposition to most banks and VC's.
A good example below of how tough it is when they keep the spread so high and it puts buyers off
28-Jun-23 16:28:25 1.40 100,000 Sell* 1,400
28-Jun-23 15:36:52 1.79 100,000 Buy*
1,790
A buy @ 3.36pm 100k shares at 1.79p cost £1790
A sell @ 4.28pm [52 mins later] for same 100k amount at 1.40p only got back £1400
Hopefully not the same person but £390 lost in 52 minutes when the spread is 33.3% .
This one is a big gamble as they have said they need to raise and its 1.40p only to sell!!
Evening Dom,
I hope you are correct but the way this is heading how will a raise be done for 3p when you can but on the open market for less than 2p and they are clearly in trouble.
Surly it's going to be 1p raise?
I can't believe how badly these AIM companies are managed and how the CEOs and CFOs stay out of prison quite honestly
Genuinely good luck here and let's hope there is a placing at a decent price and it climbs back over next 12 months
I think there may be some brown paper envelopes circulating here ?
I would think the directors would have a few at this price
My money is on an engineered cheap acquisition of the Co all the hallmarks are in place...
I think the good news is that -
The Board is, however, encouraged that the profitability of the business in recent months has been in line with the Board's expectations. The positive impact on the profitability of the Group of the implemented cost reduction measures is now becoming increasingly evident in its financial performance. In the first four months of the current financial year, the Group's fixed cost base has been reduced by 9% year-on-year, with this saving expected to increase as additional cost reduction actions take effect.
House broker is siting higher then the rest which is a good sign .
Or maybe another buying will come in and take it for 6p cheep .
The placing I would think will be 3p , not May shares available at 2.5p now
Yet another lesson on not going balls-deep on a dodgy AIM nano-cap share ! Anyone who could get this outfit for dirt cheap would do okay at all our expenses !
Jeeez - talk about glass half full !!!
Cheers neil.
You gotta love the Aim
Improved trading
Modest sized placing contemplated.
FSP terminated
Long way to go but promising
Jesus Les I know your balls deep in here and try to turn every negative into positive BUT even for you that's special!
Lets analyse:
You were banging on about a sale of the company looking like it would happen in your 10 posts a day.....but now the FSP is over and absolutely no interest....you think that's positive!! Haha
A 'modest raise' you quote
Modest as 100% plus of the current MC!!!
you will be lucky if this is done for 0.80p
Wow you deserve the award for deluded share ramper of the decade 2023
Fish4chips I did the same thing, we also got done over by the other group offering to come in with 10m investment and it seems like that was all a plan to help someone buy us for cheap. I would be happy to have this sell at 6p so I at least get over half my money back. It might not all be doom and gloom here tho. This share was at 29p in the last 12 months and could turn around on saving a sales.
Probably - but the usual AIM MO here drop the price with a placing and then maybe an offer of SP x 1.5 or 1.75 may look ok. We are in shark infested waters here !
Also explains yesterdays drop. "insider dealing" ????
Modest placing ? They are looking to raise the same as the companies Mcap as it stands. A placing to raise that much on current SP would halve shareholder value. I bought here expecting a quick turnover for a small profit based on the recent proposed offer of 10.5p Now left holding a substantial loss which looks like its about to get compacted.

I wonder if the recent lovely early summer weather has helped improve trading.
A shareholder vote would be necessary certainly but if the bod recommend it's likely a done deal
Isnt that impossible without a shareholder vote ?
Expect a rule 2.7 approved sale rns
We just need to be patient here and this will probably 3 bag....
