general mkt pull back provides greater upside as detailed below ....#TSL is 'reviewed' tonight at the Mello event, if they're sensible a number of folk will see the upside here..... .target 160p+
(will be interesting to see the Mello take on on TSL , they missed the 'opportunity' with KAPE when it was 197p, now 430p, so with more detail in the public domain and the increasing global growth of buy now pay later and importantly TSL's growing stake in Clearpay the upside ahead will no doubt be recognised by some investors ...)
Given that none of them have a correlation of 1 there will always be days when TSL is up but Afterpay is down.
Square and Apt up 4% but TSL down a tad today , where's the logic?
'.....you can add ThinkSmart’s net cash of £7m and other net assets of £2.5m to arrive at a mark-to-market sum-of-the-parts valuation of 164p a share for ThinkSmart’s own shares.
On this basis, the share price discount is 37 per cent and can only narrow as more investors cotton onto the real possibility that Square will attempt to buy out ThinkSmart’s 10 per cent interest in Clearpay for cash..'
indeed, the value of TSL's investment in Clearpay will clearly continue growing from here and it would be a consideration for AP/Square to buy out their stake at some point, however, TSL may consider it beneficial to let it run on , so increasing value to 160p+ on current view or substantially higher if growth continues in the BNPL mkt as expected....Square/AP will have to make TSL a very attractive offer I would assume to tempt them to hand over their stake..TSL shareholders should benefit substantially either way ...
Have I misinterpreted Q1 Calendar 2022? I took this to mean spring time 2022. If so, plenty of time to increase the take out valuation and/or a new bidder to materialise. APT still well below year high
I agree. This is based on trading to 30/6/21. We will have another 9month growth to the earliest time of the purchase and in addition the dynamics are in the UK's favour
ST analysed scenarios and predicts 164p take out before long. I think it could be more. Bnpl growing fast
