Oxter: The armpit. From the Old English oxta or ohsta. The word oxter is used in certain areas of the world (Scotland, Ireland, Northern England), reminding us that there are many local and colloquial names for parts of the human anatomy.
What?!
Doggy,
Yer have a clever coupon an I dinnae want a skelp on the bahookie but you must be up to yer oxters on this one?

And a happy new year to all LTH’s. We can only hope !!
A good recovery from the 52 week low in late October of around 132p to over the £2 mark but where will we go from here ? On past performance it might give up all this gain when next quarter results posted (it usually disappoints). Long way to get back to the 650p mark I’ll need to show marginal profit on my holding see

Could it be the start of a late Christmas present!

Israeli Court Share Repurchase Approval and Launch of New $20 Million Ordinary Share Repurchase Program
The Ordinary Share repurchase program will be financed through existing cash resources and will begin on 20 December 2023
Tremor International Ltd. (AIM/NASDAQ: TRMR) ("Tremor" or the "Company"), a global leader in data-driven video and Connected TV ("CTV") advertising technology offering a unified platform that enables advertisers to optimize campaigns and media companies to maximize inventory yield, announces that its motion filed with the Israeli court to authorize the Company to repurchase a further $20 million of its Ordinary Shares from time-to-time through 18 June 2024 has been approved.
Following the Israeli court approval, the Company's Board of Directors approved the new $20 million share repurchase program under which Tremor is authorized to purchase up to $20 million of its Ordinary Shares.
The initiation of this further share repurchase program follows two recently completed programs in which the Company repurchased approximately $95 million of its Ordinary Shares, representing roughly 13% of shares outstanding, from March 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023.
The Company's Board of Directors also indicates that, should the Company's Ordinary Shares continue to trade at prices the Company believes reflect discounted valuation levels, and if the Company remains cash generative in the future, it will consider launching additional future share repurchase programs following the completion of the impending $20 million Ordinary Share repurchase program, and seek further approvals from the Israeli Court as required. The Company's Board of Directors believes repurchasing the Company's shares at what it believes reflects discounted valuation levels represents a strong investment opportunity that can generate long-term value for its shareholders.

OMG. The 'then-bagger' comments have started, after a bit of a recovery. We can do better than that!....how about a 'tenty-bagger'?!
I wish all 'real' investors all the best. Hopefully Ofer can make everyone rich....including himself of course.
Hisense: The First TV With Freely.
In today’s announcement, a significant development for Freely was revealed: a strategic partnership with Hisense, the rapidly advancing smart TV brand in the UK.This long-term collaboration, spanning five years, marks the first line of devices that will support the upcoming service. The collaboration signifies a mutual benefit: for Hisense, it adds significant value to its product offerings, and for Freely, it provides an established platform to reach a broader audience.
However, at the moment......Freely will only be accessible on new, connected TVs released from 2024 onwards, raising questions about its reach and impact on viewers not equipped with the latest technology.

Ha...I was going to ask you 'what the hell is a then-bagger?'
I figured you meant ten-bagger, but I've come to know we're two countries separated by a common language, so all assumptions are out the window.
Baseball analogies in the UK...love it.
Sorry, ten-bagger!

Gdog
The word "afoot" is derived from the Old English word "on fote," which means on foot. Adequately describes the speed of any progress being made by Tremor methinks.
Art, that one cracked me up. Never heard that over here.
Up on no news...I'd prefer we were up on news, but wtf, we'll take it where we can get it.
Is something afoot? (12 inches !)

Funky software...I posted once, got a "Gateway Timeout", which apparently caused my post to be twice entered when I refreshed.
Oh well...
...the amount of SBC Druker was awarded before he did his job, on top of his huge salary.
It is obscene. It is insulting.
Yeah, I know, we've known about this for years. That doesn't stop it from rubbing me the wrong way every time he shoves it in our faces as he did once again today.

Ofer Druker has had so many share sales over the past few months, supposedly to cover tax obligations, that we have to wonder if he is being paid too much if he has to pay that much tax. In any event, I believe that his pay should be linked to performance of the company and the share price. Regards Curly.

Where in Portugal...been there a few times, drove from north to south several years back. I enjoyed it there.
I realize it's 'just down the road' for you Brits, not so much for Americans from the West Coast USA.
Hi Dog I got it after I had posted. Just got back from Portugal a little over an hour ago. I think I am still travelling. Cheers.

He really is a gimp, he literally doesn't care or nobody has ever advised him he shouldn't do it.
Reality is this must be his only income source and he needs readies, otherwise surely he wouldn't pump them as much as he can.
You just wait until the buyback starts, he'll be filling his boots! They all will haha!
Although at a much lower price than few months ago - reflecting poor management - Ofer has no shame to cash in at this level. lmao
Gdog,
I agree with you. but not much we can do. Selling at this price is silly.
Buying more is also silly, if you hold many already.
Hanging on is the only option in my view. Do you have another solution?
jr
These guys keep hyping our capabilities while our fundamentals are going down the toilet.
They have lowered our 2023 guidance several times since they went after Amobee...from the initial call for revenue of 500 million to 400 to 320-330 now down to 310-315. Each time they've done this it has been over halfway through the current quarter. They always tell us they're lowering guidance because they want to be "conservative" in their guidance...yet they lower it again...because they get it wrong.
These guys are doing a lousy job.
However, they are VERY good at taking SBC, then using sleight of hand in paying themselves with our Money and not diluting their holdings by buying back shares with OUR Money. Cash is fungible. We are paying them HUGE salaries and they've done NOTHING to deserve it...they've not earned what we're paying them.
I'll suffer through yet another year...shows you how stupid I am.
Last post: curlykev, 22 Nov 2023 17:38
I am with you all the way Dog. The directors should be paid on results and it would concentrate their minds. They treat the company as though it is their own private bank and that they don’t have to answer to shareholders. We have come this far, so I will stick with it, but I will be glad when I’m out. Regards to all holders Curly

They've been playing the same 'wait music' since the blinkx days going back to 2009.
How 'bout some Rolling Stones? "Angry" comes to mind. Or "You can't always get what you want".
I skimmed the release when it came out last night (my time) and came to the same conclusion Mal did.
The results are horrible.
The share price reaction tells me how oversold we were.
More "jam tomorrow".
Meanwhile, TTD had 25% increase off a much larger base, and PERI crushing it.

Invested here yesterday, took a big profit today, lovely jubbly.
GL all for the future.
Well that post didn't age too well.
Well with the results probably worse than anyone expected (EBITDA halved, Profit margin cut to shreds, revenue collapsing despite umpteen acquisitions, the worst being Amobee) what hope is there for the future of this company ? Even if we attract the attention of private equity, and fire all the existing board, we shareholders would get well and truly ****ed.
And they still cling to the eternal lifeboat of another $20 million share purchase programme as if any of the previous ones did anything to help the share price.
Guidance is abysmal so Im looking at yet another year in the toilet. If I were to cash out today I'd be losing 75% of the value I accrued over these years. Abandon hope all ye who enter here !!
