and the era of long vulnerable global supply chains is likely now to go out of fashion?
with so many opportunities emerging across markets, why back yesterday's "model"?
hardly reassuring
pretty lacklustre figures
and global outlook hardly rosy
Sold 2k @ a little under £2.34 each - P/E ratio 15 - 16 possibly fair? But a little too rich for me.
Solid performance and future opportunities. However, appears reflected in the current share price so seems to be added only on the ‘dips’.
#pocketmoney
underlying eps looks like circa 14p maybe 15p --- 5 year growth profile quite uniform - roughly doubled eps over the 5 year period.
Hi Jolly, no idea - I didn't buy enough to slice & dice - happy to let it ride along with emr - might get round to looking at it closely one day - thanks again for the tip
decent bounce
perhaps high enough for now given headwinds?
Well we have a gradual uptrend now which is ok. Can't see anything not to like other than the market not being that enthusiastic as it has turned into an adrenalin junkie where only spectacular returns get recognised.
We seem to be stuck at about 190. Brexit effect which could of course last for years overshadowing project Atlas. Wonder whether to sell before the next trading update. Hmmm. Bought this far too high.
This is a good company, no doubt hurt by Brexit especially as it supplies a lot to the car industry.
Will hold for the future.
Quite possibly. He does make errors! Not many mind. I'm regretting not entering at around 170p on dip... Trading update soon i think.
NT called this wrong, no?
We still seem to have large sells yet the sp holds. Odd.
NT sold at 182 according to his blog.
Bought 2k & £1.82 ... thanks Jolly
Wow. Huge sells this morning and sp rises??!!
but bought back 1800 of 3500 sold @243...still on handy free carry ofc
I'd be v tempted to load up if EV/EBIT approached 7
DYOR, all
185p but looks tempting...
When I buy a share that has dipped it then goes a lot lower.
When I buy a share that's on an uptrend it immediately reverses.
So whatever I buy, no matter when, I'm immediately at a loss.
From the charts it's obvious that HAD I bought x at point t then I would have made money but it never works like that.
That I believe is the case with 90% of people.
I can't help feeling that when NT buys something others follow and the brokers share that knowledge to drive the price up. He then sells. Good game.
He hardly ever loses. That seems to defy the odds to say the least.
He bought in again at 192. I anticipate he sold back out when sp went back up to 213-215p. Watching on sidelines here. It's a company I like but waiting for right opportunity to buy in... GLA
so 190 here we come. NT will then announce he got out again being more savvy than anyone else in the history of investing.
Sorry, typo. Exited at 213p
He bought at 215p and exited at 215p. Wise move, as usual!! Am interested but will wait on sidelines for time being...
I see NT bought some 2 weeks ago at 215p, I think sub 200 is a great price to get back in but I might wait for volatility to die down first. GLA
