HL have told me this morning that they are in negotiation with Tintra to see if there could be an opportunity for we PI's to sell our shares back to them at the 150p price direct, not soley via JP Jenkins, thereby saving us additional fees. HL say they will "write out" to PI's in a week or two with further info or instruction. Personally I do not see why Tintra would circumvent the arrangement they have set up with JP Jenkins.
Re the update, so if I have this correct, we can place a sell order anytime in the 60 day window, then at the end of 60 days the shares will be sold at the £1.50 price subject to the buyer having sufficient funds available to buy all of the sell orders, if not, the shares will be scaled back , so either your sell order will be successful or part thereof .

Hi, Seems you can instruct Freetrade to trade with JPJenkins. I'm waiting for my ISA held shares to transfer to my IA account. Decided I will wait until the funding situation becomes clearer in Feb, then decide what I will do - hold or sell part/all in the second round. Be interesting to see how much RS still holds - does anyone know. ? If there is a Telegram group or other forum for PIs, please let me know. Regards.
Thank you for that.
I'm told they are legally obliged to transfer out of ISA within 30 days of de-listing. According to my count (from 8th Jan), that should happen today or tomorrow. So, it should be automatic, but Barclays seem somewhat slow sometimes!
Flatliner, I have opened a trading account for my wife and myself, do I assume that Barclays will now transfer our TNT shares to the new accounts as soon as, or do I need to call them to do it? Any help appreciated.
OBNC
Thank you Flatliner
@OBNC
Below is the corporate action message in Smart Investor. You can pretty quickly open an Investment Account if you already have an ISA (I did it in about 20 minutes). Seems if you don't, they will attempt to Certificate (which is actually what I think they will need to do with the wife's ones anyway). You can try this email: investmentclientrelations@barclays.com

Tintra PLC
DELISTING
Tintra PLC delisted from the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). The delisting is effective from 8th January 2024.
What this means for you:
If you hold the investment in an ISA, regulations require that we remove this within 30 days of the delisting.
1. If you have an Investment Account with us we will move your holding to this account
2. If you do not, we will re-register your holding on to a certificate in your own name (provided this is available). By moving it out of your ISA the shares no longer benefit from being in an ISA wrapper
You may be able to sell your investment via an off exchange venue, if this is available. Further information may be obtained from the company directly. You will need to receive a certificate to do this. To check if a certificate is available, call us on 0800 279 3667* or if calling outside the UK+44 141 352 3919. If it is available, we can request one on your behalf.
If you hold this investment in a SIPP, pension regulations prevent the assets from being removed from the SIPP. Your only option to remove this holding would be to transfer part or all of your pension to a specialist SIPP provider that will accept unlisted assets.
If the delisted holding remains in your portfolio, it will show the last traded price and will continue to be included in the calculation of your monthly fee.
Thanks, Flatliner.
I do not have a trade account with Barclays, will you have to open one or will Barclays open one for you? Do you happen to have SmartInvestor’s email address as I can’t seem to find one.
Again thanks.

See my post around 10:30! Same link.
Hey people,
Thought you might be interested in the latest update!
https://tintra.com/2024/02/tintra-the-next-steps/
@OBNC - I will keep you updated.
I had a brief chat with Barclays earlier. The guy I spoke to said they don't usually deal in MBF's, but I mentioned if they didn't then they would need to certificate the shares so I could transfer to a broker. AT this point he said that there may be a way of doing it once the shares had transferred from the ISA to the standard trading account. They are still sitting in the ISA at the moment (they have 30 days to move them), so I am guessing they will be moved in teh next couple of days and then I'll have a specific chat with them and update you. Cheers
I was going to sell out asap, but after reading the latest update, think I will wait and see what transpires,it was quite an interesting read, can always go with the second batch if I wish to.Be interesting to know if this arrangement with JP Jenkins actually works out for shareholders.Iam also with II,so it was interesting to see the score with them.Whatever you decide,I wish you good luck.
TIMBERTREND - Halifax don't deal with JP Jenkins, and probably don't deal with any exchange on which the company may eventually re-list - I think though that it's a question you need to put to Halifax - I'm lucky in that my shares are with Interactive Investor who do offer sells through JPJ - though at a price!
Hi Flatliner,
Both my wife and I have shared in an ISA with Barclays Smart Investor, they have provided no information. Unfortunately, I am stuck here in Australia and could not get through to Barclays. Would you mind letting me know how you get on.
On the update from Tintra, it sounds very good, not expected a merger? I will wait for the second 90 days before I decide to sell some of my shares as I think the price may well be more than the current offer of £1.50.
Good luck all
The article does read well, like some
Previous RNS’. I don't know if I've had enough of RS and his golden over promising tongue or do I just wait it out. Will ponder as I love Tintra and I hate it too 😅
Aidan 1 can I still leave my shares in Halifax and if tnt sort there self out there may be the option to sell again through Halifax? As you can prob guess I’ve not got a clue about this . Cheers
So as I read that, they will group all orders and execute them together after a 60 day period at the £1.50 price, subject to having enough funds to do so. Or you can wait and they will provide another 90 day grouping period after that (so will be 5 months out from now before the next is converted).
The article reads well. The problem is the talk has always been good but the walk has seldom been the same. I'm already on the edge of a health issue with the money I have in and the unknowing ahead. I'll put myself in the exit now category and hope that does actually come off, but good luck to those that wait it out too :)
Https://tintra.com/2024/02/tintra-the-next-steps/ - worth a read, but if you are selling out, wait 60 days!
Has any one managed to move TNT shares from halifax share dealing over to jp Jenkins ? If so how do you it ? Thanks
Yup, mines in now - a 30 minute phone call - though I suspect they have a LOT of investors wanting to sell!!
Mine's in. It's another question if it will execute lol. Now I have to figure how to get rid of those I have in Barclays Smart Investor
Phone commission for dealing is £49!! Got to love this share!! However my sell order is being placed!!
Been on hold whilst they place order for 20 mins. Seems it's more complex than putting in numbers and clicking a button. must be using carrier pigeons.
Also on a call to ii!
