What may we expect (or not}
1 The interim statement RNS will probably be released by next weekend and possibly this.
2 That the continuation of no stock being sold by the major Institutional Investors will continue (only swapping and lending).
3 The company may state something along the following lines:
'Whilst we are aware of significant interest in our products, and more recently enhanced by Covid-19 many prospective clients have yet to place firm orders'.
N.B The above would dampen any significant upwards movement of the s.p which the company may not want at this time.
4 The share price movement will see-saw in the short term between 26-30p.
5 There will be no mention of any potential buy-out or joint venture. In my opinion T.B will always want to be in total control of any business he is involved with.
* If Para 3 projection is wrong then the possibility of this along the lines of this alternative remains:
'Although the company has moderate cash reserves, the recent significant movement both in interest and actual firm orders may have a negative impact on our cash flow situation in the short term. This situation may arise due to the potential time line drag between the payment of our suppliers and receipt of monies from invoiced goods. We are monitoring this situation on a regular basis.
N.B This possibility of a cash raise through a placing. Any placing could also be to the benefit of the I.I's alone at a 'reasonable' price, the downside being the dilution through such an action to private investors. Bear in mind the I.I's have direct access to T.B and the board. Forget mentioning any 'insider trading' here. This is AIM.
The above is only my best guess at what may be in the short term pipeline.
Persimmon.
afrc.....best sell then and invest elsewhere.
If the sp cant hold on to the 28 range with good news , it will probably go down to the 20 22 level once the sell off in equity prices gathers steam !!!
How many times we have heard that ? Every time we get a glimmer of good news (which is not very often ), the sp moves up a bit and then goes back down . We have been stuck in this 28p range for such a long time waiting for the infamous Mr Tom Black to deliver the goods, total waste of time this investment !!!
False spread, SLINGER on the bid and paying over ASK for quantity.
Fill your boots.
says that this announcement is made prior to the interim statement due next month to enable the company to keep the lid on the s.p for the present. Will the interim now be given only 3 days after the end of the 6 month period like last year October 3rd 2019. Only Thruvision know that and the reasons for this announcement now. We all know that they have had numerous orders coming in from the retail sector; will this be the main plank of the future statement, at the same time glossing over the U.S business. Hmm the jury is out on that one . Looks like more 'jam tomorrow' as I expected. A great company for the portfolio without doubt.
All the indications are that we are going through a period of quiet consolidation prior to arriving at the escalator once again
By my 'back of the fag packet calculations' and understanding how this company with its track record of liking to hold over receipts into the next financial year my guess is Thruvision is now trading profitably. Millions in the bank, a very healthy order book is what most smaller companies can only dream about. Is 'Lucky Tom' about to deal investors a winning hand. I think so, and that's with more research by me (for what that's worth) than any other company I have looked into. The interim in October or November cannot blame Covid-19 as it is a boon to them with the social distancing, unlike the blame they put on the previous year with the US government New Year strikes,' delaying orders and payments!
Footasylum are the latest leading UK retailer to deploy Thruvision’s security screening camera technology.
‘’Innovation is vital in order to ‘move with the times’. When it comes to keeping both your stock and your staff safe within our supply chain, Thruvision was the obvious choice for us at Footasylum. It provides so much more than just a theft deterrent when you start exploring the realms of being as ethical and as minimally invasive as possible yet ensuring we protect our assets and keep loss at an absolute low. This has also prompted better engagement between our colleagues on the shop floor and our security team in aiding to educate and continuously improve.'' Christian Shelmerdine, Distribution Profit Protection Manager.

Good article, but this product is not in competition with Thru as it's to do with thermal imaging and used for a different purpose.
Full article below:
Thermal-imaging cameras of the kind being installed at businesses, airports and hospitals are an unreliable way of screening and give a false sense of security, researchers have said.
The cameras detect heat radiating from an individual’s skin and are designed to judge quickly whether someone is infectious. However, the results may be too variable to be useful. “They are no more than a visible tool designed to build people’s confidence in public places and airports,” Ashley Wood****, professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Manchester, said.
Interest in the devices is soaring: Flir, the largest player in the field, recorded camera sales of $100 million in the first quarter of this year, with the devices costing $2,000 to $15,000, or higher.
Last week Transport for London announced that bus drivers in the capital were being scanned with thermal-imaging cameras. Amazon has started using the cameras to identify ill warehouse workers, and trials are under way at airports in Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and London.
Derek Hill, professor of medical imaging science at University College London, is sceptical. “There are not yet thermal-imaging cameras that are CE marked as medical devices with the purpose of detecting fever,” he said. A CE mark indicates that a product conforms to EU health and safety directives.
Thermal cameras measure skin temperature to within half a degree but not core body temperature, meaning that in cool environments such as air-conditioned airports skin-surface temperatures will probably be lower.
Some insist that the purpose of thermal cameras is not to detect, but to act as an initial screening system. “People who are identified as having an elevated skin temperature can then be evaluated using additional tools or told to take a test,” said Chris Bainter, director of global business development for Flir.
Not invested here, however I believe this to belong to you boys and girls.

Centresoft Ltd's parent company is Activision Blizzard a U.S Fortune 500 business with almost 10,000 employees worldwide with a T/O of 6.5B dollars. It's 3 main franchises are Call of Duty, Candy Crush and World of Warcraft. Is the UK satellite Centresoft a trial or are Thruvision scanners being rolled out over all their distribution hubs?
Centersoft Ltd, The UK’s leading multi-format specialist distributor of video games is the latest company to be utilising Thruvision’s LPC8 camera to reduce theft and maintain ‘’hands off’’, safe distance security
What happened today then ? 10% i one day , we havent seen that for a very long time !! will the sp finally break the 30 p level and keep rising on no news ?
The price is being worked down again, just as it was 1 year ago before the tender offer. Is another on the horizon? it would make sense if there is.
The question otherwise, why would the price fall when we all know the excellent position the business in in? Are the orders now so substantial that even given the significant amount of 'free cash' on the books, it is not sufficient to fund the expansion?
I feel we will soon know.
What do you mean with when will the co move ?
Yes I see that possibility also. As you say either a buy out of the business which Tom Black has prior experience of with Detica, or raising money for a massive expansion. The last special resolutions passed at the last AGM and also put forward for the next on September 22nd 2020 provides for this. The company can float more shares if it requires. This obviously is contrary to buying back existing shares and 'burning them'. The question is when will the company move? I believe within the next few weeks !
some huge trades going through, which look like they could be transfers with a matching trade for every large trade at 26.3 on friday. 5.3m shares= 3.5% of shares in issue. with the 4m trade today, thats 6.4%. Must be due a holdings RNS update?
At 26p, it can't be part of the share buyback as the market average price in the 5 prior days would make this more than 110%.
"At the Annual General Meeting held on 23 September 2019, Shareholders granted authority for the Company to make market purchases of up to 21,803,572 of its own Shares provided that the maximum price (excluding expenses) which may be paid for an Ordinary Share is an amount equal to 110% of the average of the middle market quotations for an Ordinary Share derived from the AIM appendix of the Daily Official List of the Exchange for the five business days immediately prior to the day on which the Share is contracted to be purchased and the minimum price is 1 pence exclusive of attributable expenses payable by the Company"

The traditional millimeter wave body scanners is a big problem for security screeners as they can not see what and where an item may be on a traveler, therefore requiring a more personal interaction to inspect the traveler.
This is a big opportunity for Thruvision to systematically replace all of them. My concern is the company today does not have the ability to scale to meet such a demand. Only way is through them being acquired or receive a major investment.
All SINT trades, quotes and offers in the background, non price forming. By law they have to be posted for transparency reasons. Transparency on AIM makes you laugh.
Even bigger volume today...
The sp has climbed a bit recently, huge volume today though !!!
From yesterday's Annual Report
"It is expected that a bonus scheme will be put in place, based on revenue and profit in the year to 31 March 2021. However, at thetime of writing and due to the uncertainty created by Covid-19, the terms of the scheme have yet to be agreed".
Yes Leoboy, it could have been an early term but for some 'creative accounting' as per usual by Thruvision lol. Masters at deception and holding end of year good news and figures over into the next year. Suppose I shouldn't grumble I used to do it.
