Excellent update.
Paul1deano- thankyou.
Honestly I'm only considering a small investment (1k) and in an isa.
I've got a few other investments and also in ggp and eua. I have researched thor and it looks promising but I'm wondering if ggp having the initial choice over tenements why they wouldnt have chosen the ones thor has. however they may have gone for what they thought were the biggest and with hav, poss scally and the goliath as well they didnt really need to go that much wider I guess. I know they also have pilot mountain in usa and the site in Alice springs, but was thinking more for the ones near ggp sites tbh.
It would be a bit of a punt and I only invest what I can afford to lose tbh.
I'm spread across a few including ftse 100/250 and a couple of pharmas on aim etc. All holdings are only small 1 or 2k . (I can afford to wait too for the money I'm in no rush)
Thx u for replying guys
Its a skill investing on AIM explorers and speculative investing.
Investing is risky and it is quite common for newbies to be their whole pot on one outcome.
If things do not work out you can sometimes wait 5 years or more to just break back even.
So say I have £10'000 there is no way I would ever put more than 5% in a long speculative position, and some would consider that too high.
However I am also in GGP, ECR and AAU and made a bit in SLP so all in the same industry.
For what purpose are you making the investment is it in your Nominee Account, ISA or SIPP or just a spread bet?
Thankyou Joey I really appreciate u replying thx
53mil shares is about 3% of the shares in issue so I wouldn’t think this will move the sp much. I.e. this is roughly a 3% dilution. With a sp of 1p this may drop to 0.97
Hi guys, hope your all ok.
I've been reading up on thor mining, and like the prospects here however I was reading over the rnss and the one from 2.10.20 re general meeting and issue of equity. I want to make sure I understand it right pls.
Metting to take place on 20.10 and put of the meeting is to discuss and get shareholders permission to add to aim 53+ million shares to trade on 23.10.20 this would be putting with all warrants / shares etc into the 1.5 billion shares in issue?
What if anything do you think this issue of extra shares will have on the sp? I'm debating whether to jump in now or wait until after the new issued shares are on the market.
Info from the rns "Settlement and dealings
Application will be made to the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM") for a total of 53,833,333 new Ordinary Shares, pursuant to the Conditional Placing, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading. Dealings on AIM are expected to commence at 8:00am on or around 23 October 2020 ("Admission").
Total Voting Rights
For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules ("DTRs"), following Admission of the Initial Placing ordinary shares, Thor will have 1,493,204,800 Ordinary Shares in issue with voting rights attached. Thor holds no shares in treasury. This figure of 1,493,204,800 may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the ASX Listing Rules or the DTRs."
Any guidance or experience of this placing etc in previous companies for example would be greatly appreciated.
I am aware that we (almost we when I jump in) are due news on the magnetic surveys plus the info on further tenaments/ licences in Pilbara region.
But any help would be appreciated as new to investing and just want to make sure I'm understanding things correctly
Thx
Yes for sure I’m aware of what it could possibly do hence the reason I have a couple of million shares+.
I’m not so sure of an instant multi bagger but I would say 2p-3p should be achievable reasonably quickly.
Then when and if results are favourable, I do see 5-7p from 6-12 months. So a mini bagger maybe.
As I said before, my personal view is that ARV will be looking closer if results are half sensible.
It’s all very well having BILLION dollar values in things buddy, but it’s all pie in the sky until it’s out and sold.
No disrespect meant
It's ok mate. It happens. Numbers are actually mind boggling.
THR is a multi multi bagger.
EUA went from 0.44 (Sep 2019) to 36p today.
Some folks just do not understand the phenomenal upside here with Commodity prices turning in our favour after a decade slump. Political situation between USA and China is not going to improve. Both Russian and Chinese old Tungsten mines are near end of life.
Above does not even include Uranium and Vanadium uoside.
I keep saying time to Buy THR is NOW.......
Isn’t it just lol my apologies
LOL my apologies MP
Will we be digging it up before GGP ??;and will we have more than them ? They are tad ahead of us share.price.wise ..any comparisons to be drawn or is it to different to draw a comparison
Fierce1.
Read the post again please.
I simply converted 1000 Tonnes to Kilos.
Last time I checked my maths:
1 Tonne = 1000 kg
1000 tonnes annual production = 1,000,000 Kg
Now you can add your Profit margin range.
This Deposit alone is worth more than a $Billion.
Keep talking sense orion10.
Hopefully mb will remove the stuffing from his ears and take his blinkers off.
Read the Great Southern report - they had more gold anomalies than we have currently. Their drilling failed to find any gold. Now that is not to say that Ragged Range may well come up trumps but common sense dictates if NEW gold pathfinders are delivering completely NEW gold discoveries like we have never witnessed in the Pilbara ever -if you are smart you get stuck into positioning the company in granite intrusives as well -which investors are falling over themselves to gain exposure. Don't be a one trick pony -
We hit good gold values here and we have a big target sign on our backs ! Uped my investment inline with sentiment .
You have one throw of the dice -the Pilbara. Talk about Kapunda -Pilot Mountain -Molyhill -when will you ever learn -its been flogged to death for decades now -the same old rinse and repeat and a fresh faced geologist doing field visits to tungsten projects when she should be full on the Pilbara and trying to learn a little about what can really drive the company.
George Merhi is up there now - but still Mick doesn't get the urgency to expand the Pilbara story to granite intrusives.
Have a look at Kairos -a market cap of over $110 million -have a look at NAE which I put into the Quartz Hill supersuite play - hundreds of punters lined up to back the company's objectives .
You can chatter on all day long and dream for the next 10-20 years about tungsten and copper and uranium of all things but there is only going to be one area that might save Thor's bacon -the Pilbara and that in this market needs to be granite intrusive plays like DEG not conventional gold .
"1000 tons x $100 per kilo = £100,000"
£?
So poetic Fierce!
ATB.
Hehe well I’m not going to judge either of you.
My mental health all good I just try to warn people because the paid posters are utter shytes and new investors who want to have a punt won’t know that and then when they lose their dough because of what someone has said here, it’s awful and disgraceful !! IMO
So I always say do the research because it’s not hard to do, have a think about it and then make your move but in your own terms.
You wouldn’t meet a girl and get married a week later because a chat board says to do that would you ?? Although there are many that do lol
There is plenty of info available about everything so do that first.
MP
your maths are shocking !! 1000 tons x $100 per kilo = £100,000 not 1 million pal
New to this board. £1k punt. Could this be my second Wishbone? Hope so.
Tungsten prices currently between $50 - $100 per Kilo
Pilot Mountain cost / kilo $8
Molyhil cost / kilo $10-11 range.
Huge profit Margins.
THR can produce 1000 Tonnes annually.
That is 1 Million kilos annually just from Pilot Mountain.
This would back to its previous highs. Just sit tight and watch.
Morning Fierce : )
I was just concerned for your mental health - I see I was right to be as you seem to be a Chelsea supporter - Ha Ha
I applaud your concern for investors losing money. On the bbs I am involved in there is always someone there to talk reason. I and my mate Seamus from the Amigo bb are in on this so please keep the comments flowing as we haven't got a scooby about mining stocks but really liked the look of the potential of this.
I'm a Leeds fan and Seamus is Man City but please don't hold that against us : )
Cheers!!!
