Hendo still selling? Assume so - last rns on 29/08 they had 2.9mil left. Jolly target might come quickly at this rate.
On earth is going on? Anyone?
grim...with rns narrative on Russian contracts suggesting v tough time ...and the rpt together with the large director sell at the start of the year suggest that Soukup has organised things v prettily...and his skin is not in the game in the same way it once seemed it was ...I am eyeing up 70-90p to buy back in ..or I'll follow Soukup if he buys back
I thought I had done the cleaver thing and invested after that drop which happened 16/09 but it has fallen 20% further... Of all the RNSs I have read I see no real reason why this should be so low when looking at the PE ratio, the money in the bank and the new contracts that have been won. Holders can only hope this is the bottom i guess as this is so undervalued and clearly unloved atm... views?
oh dear
Related party transaction. Don't like the nature of this transaction at all.
I think it should turnaround but medium to long term view only. What is RPT?
lost faith in this investment today and sold a proportion of my holding. didn't like the smell of the RPT and not sure why I hadnt picked up from this before. perhaps hadnt been noted that it was a RPT
Had picked up on the same wording earlier. Jolly check out the location its not your average business park.
Jolly! These premises were chosen following chosen "after an extensive search throughout the South West of England" - I couldn't possibly comment further!
in middle of nowhere...fair?
Another cosy arrangement for mr soukup
bottom ? Correct me if I am wrong but we have a buyer for the Hendo sell-off and although results could be better surely we are overdone here.....
"The amendment to the Articles has been made to ensure that the interests of all shareholders are reflected in the event of a potential takeover, in line with the provisions of Rule 9, and brings Thalassa into line with those overseas incorporated companies which have similar protections in their constitution." One of those words has stuck out in bold for me.. TAKEOVER?
I agree. IC have gone down in my estimations I have to admit...
I had persuaded myself to buy Jolly big here before that post traffic...I focused on the HGI selling more than the language change, and that delayed me...I should have looked at the Russian dominance over their ST revs
they'll be right sometime ...I don't really care about whether the say buy/sell...it is any evidence of understanding (beyond what us lot are capable of)...and I do not see that profound grasp which would impress
Just flicked through this week's edition and they've tipped THAL again at 139p and said they were unlucky about the timing of their tip last time around (they seemed quite sorry for themselves!)
I detect immense defensiveness by the erstwhile guru...& am not persuaded that he has grasped the key reasons for falls here, nbu, camk and npt ... his grasp of business models, risks, management strengths doesn't persuade me that he knows much more than say you, dibs, elite (or me) ..and he seems blind to the the dangers of ii selling pressure
The illustrious Simon Thompson made a similar recommendation at 280 with a target of 350 and we're at about half of that now.
Another Simon Thompson recommendation, Thalassa (THAL) saw group revenues dip from $11.6m to $9.3m in the opening six months of the year but strip out a one-off manufacturing contract from last year worth $4.5m and the seismic monitoring business performed well, growing revenues from $7.1m to $9.3m. The company’s pipeline of orders has risen by 23 per cent to $175m since the end of 2013 and it also ended the year with a healthy cash balance of $21m.
? ...pf=portfolio ...dd=due diligence..research etc
Bought at 265 many moons ago with a fantastic outlook, strong balance sheet, no debt and plenty of cash. Since then it has done nothing but sink and today it has taken a monumental nosedive. To sell, or to hold? Looking at LT perspective here.
What is pf and dd?
yes...but unnerving...my overly diverse pf comes with some serious DD deficiencies
