All stocks taking some hammer the LSE is not the place to have a stock
Ted is getting battered, is this price cheap or will this hit the 80s again?
I just looked at their website and it is Black Fri event.
Some of their stuff looks ok I suppose.
The 40% is probably early Black Friday discounting.
I bought a jumper yesterday from the website with the early deal.
The sad fact is that as you get older you lose touch with the young and trendy brands and start gravitating to places like Next and Mark’s and Spencer for the value and quality.
Look at the stuff they are selling, it used to be you could buy a nice pair of shoes or a nice office shirt etc and I felt it was aimed at people over the age of up till whatever age looking to look smart with quality cloths.
Now its like if I'm 40 and I buy one of there shirts etc I will look like I'm trying to look 20 again its got too trendy almost if that makes sense.
It just need to sell high Quilty fashion that fits well and looks good not trying to sell stuff for 50 year olds that teenagers would wear.
Just been into outlet in Fenwicks Tunbridge Wells and over half maybe three quarters of the stock all showing 40% discount. In November? don't get it. Not an impressive choice on display. Altogether disappointing!
Old people working in the city no idea how great companies doing buy and hold
Ive decided not to buy, I think its got long way to go now before this does anything interesting.
Yeah need to see some real progress here back up to the £2 mark. Back to profits in the new year will drive this forward.
I keep thinking about buying these, but it could see 120 before Xmas?
there are many disappointed and feel trapped wish to seek egress here. perhaps they try to keep it down until the numbers real appealing, otherwise they sustain SELL on high scale.
one of their problems is investors trust faded out.
Please do not mention other shares. This chat talk about ted baker.
It is correct that this is way undervalued.Six months figures reflecting earlier part of the year compared to others reporting this week.Good figures keep coming on latest update.Cas would be lower as they build up stock for Xmas ,margins good.Only negative is the bad presentation of the figures .The shares will either go up when the figures are digested or they will be taken over shortly.Either way a win win situation
£7 - Cloud Cookoo land, you must be new to investing. Available cash seriously depleted, great products, needs travel to open up. Let’s see????
@Ade: "Until Ted confirm in the next update things are turning this will won’t do much."
I disagree.... TED also moves independently of news... I could be wrong, but let's see!
And we are still down
I think to many people are enjoying the ride from the 120s -140s at the moment for this to do much.
Until Ted confirm in the next update things are turning this will won’t do much.
But if all goes well next year should see some improvement.
As WolfofWarks pointed out, they have lots of room left in the credit facility; working capital balance has shifted back to stock/debtors from cash. Not concerned at all. Losses have *shrunken*. They were *net cash* a couple of months ago and at worst would be close to that now. That's not a bad situation - most businesses have debt!
It's a great brand.
I've purchased another decent chunk of these to trade them for the 25'th time since early 2020. The previous 24 trades have been profitable, so I'm not at all concerned by the movements here or emotional exits by newbies...
I think the cash burn is in danger. It has dropped from last updates' £60.7m to now just £12.7m(-74.3%). Looks like that it may need another fund raising soon. That's probably why the SP is falling.
There has been a rise today, but looking at all the facts again it shows how undervalued the price is as the six months ended much earlier than others who published results yesterday.I do not think we will have long to wait until this goes over £2 or even more
Well let's hope your wish comes true. :(
I wish :(
This could equally double without a miracle...
This could be going sub £1 without a miracle.
