Telit expands global availability of CAT-M modules with certification by Verizon
London, June 25, 2020 - Telit Communications PLC ("Telit", "the Group", AIM: TCM), a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that its CAT-M modules, the ME310G1 and ME910G1, have been certified for use on Verizon's 4G LTE network. The modules have now been certified - and can be deployed - by several major US networks, further expanding their availability on an international level.
Based on the Qualcomm 9205 LTE IoT modem, the modules are used for wearable medical devices, smart utility metering, industrial sensors, and other applications that require long battery life and reliable connectivity even deep inside buildings.
Key features of the ME310G1-W1 and ME910G1-W1 modules include Power Saving Mode (PSM) and extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) to maximize battery life, and a maximum coupling loss (MCL) of up to +15dB/+20dB to ensure reliable indoor connectivity.
For applications also targeted at markets outside the United States, the certified modules' different variants offer 2G fallback and extended coverage which allows IoT devices to operate in all network conditions, significantly reducing coverage issues. For devices deployed globally or across multiple countries, 2G fallback also ensures connectivity where more advanced networks are not yet deployed on a national scale.
Paolo Dal Pino, Chief Executive Officer, Telit, commented : "Receiving certification of our CAT-M modules by a major US network like Verizon allows us to address high levels of demand in the market for modules providing reliable connectivity with low power consumption. It is an important step in our efforts to achieve global availability for the CAT-M modules."
My first post wasn't showing before. Anyway, have a great day all.

Great company with lots of potential and looks materially undervalued. I am pleased that the FCA investigation has concluded and I take it as a strong endorsement of the current management team. It will build trust and confidence among market participants and removes a cloud overhanging the company.
Excellent potential and feel a material re-rating is now due.

Great news that the FCA investigation has finally been closed and it's an excellent endorsement of the company's current management team after all the company historic travails. Lot of potential here and the share price looks significantly undervalued.
I think we could do 10% today once the city wakes up to the potential but I am looking for a bigger re-rating over time.

I see lots of very small trades trying to keep a lid on the SP..... Well I've managed to slowly accumulate 100,000 at these depressed prices so just following the recent very large Director buys big confidence message I believe from the BOD .. So much cash in the bank this is a potential takeover target again.. maybe 'Far East' investors will look to get this company for the very high end IOT technology? Also share buyback as a way of distributing some of the large cash pile from the very well timed automotive sale last year. This is definitely one to watch over the summer, maybe test 200p again? ADYOR .....
rising not falling 5pct. How can an uncrossed trade worth all of £ 5 be seen to be affecting the price on LSE ?

SP starting to tick up again now Brexit out of the way.....interesting to see what next trading update brings...especially if USA & China resolve trade dispute?
It's a good update - really surprised that the markets and SP haven't reacted more positively. This seems to be an unloved & unnoticed share IMO. Really surprised at that too given IoT/cloud/5G is high profile emerging technology.
17% increase in IoT revenue!
Why is this all going unnoticed? Baffling to me.
