Yes it's entirely possible. I agree with sipps that the results will be good but this is just my opinion and I'm prepared to risk this SP falling if the results are not great or just OK. I'd be very surprised if they were bad but I'm willing to risk my current profit on that too.
If you're in profit and you're not willing to take the risk then sell now and you'll win whatever happens.
I'm not selling. In fact I will probably add after the results are out ... Even though I expect to pay more... For me this is a 190p plus near future price target... So much volatility in markets, perfect for TCAP
It’s possible the gains will just evaporate on results day? ??
That is the big question.
I bought at 102 and 120p.
Should one hold till results or sell now to make sure of some profit?
What do people think? Sensible answers please
Thanks! Cheap
So mary yes I agree :)
Definitely :) the price action over the last two weeks has the hall marks of manipulation. Selling was depressing the price and was deliberate and concerted and wholesale ( within reason still not huge volumes) at around 1.20 could be activist getting out?? Its pump higher is a surprise 50 day MA and results imminent not sure justify the jump so as ever we shall see :)
You were a little premature with this post. I don't expect TCAP to rise every day so a red day today isn't the end of the world. Maybe everyone who wants to be in before results is already in
up we go again ,nice
Q1 was revenue of £556k. Annualised this would be over £2.2m. Our highest rev in last 5 years was £1.865m.
Will q2 be better? I'd be surprised if not. I think liquidnet has been completely discounted. I also think volatility will continue.
The last update sounded more positive to me
results are out next week , maybe TP ICAP done better in the last quarter
Not sure but with inflation, ukraine, recession worries etc there will be volatility. Its at a bargain price at the moment so I'm very happy to sit and wait.
This share keeps on giving opportunities for those who wish to trade is 133p v 100 lows.
A trader's dream. I love this share.
FWIW does anyone else think like me that the recent recovery is due to something going on behind the scenes?
Aceof something - that’s pretty naive.
No one replaces money magnet with no reason or with something that doesn’t make money. Maybe in your fantasy world but the real world doesn’t work like that. Furthermore Chris Jonns might have gone on mutual agreement or on his own accord. You speculate that he was rid off by tp icap? And how do you know all these details? It appears to me your comments are negative drivel rather than informed.
Maybe Chris Jonns was bringing in less business thus his worth was less? I understand this may cost some business but simultaneously costs have to be reduced and new generation of traders do not need a broker like Jonns - they want electric platform.
People are not stupid to just get rid of money machine. Things are more nuanced than that. Perhaps you need to invest in cash?
up we go again ,fingers crossed
It’s good to see the share price do the talking.
Positive taking that is
About bloody time!

Ok so 120p that came quickly
Next?
investment companies are doing well today
yes 120p very soon
Well it has bounced of the £1.
I am not making any forecasts to say if that'll hold or not
but I recon it'll much more interesting to see if that holds.
