GDPR - One yr on..
GDPR adtech complaints keep stacking up in Europe
"The latest clutch of GDPR complaints aimed at the real-time bidding (RTB) system have been filed in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain.
All the complaints argue that RTB entails “wide-scale and systemic” breaches of Europe’s data protection regime, as personal date harvested to profile Internet users for ad-targeting purposes is broadcast widely to bidders in the adtech chain. The complaints have implications for key adtech players, Google and the Internet Advertising Bureau, which set RTB standards used by other in the online adverting pipeline."

Another BIG 125,000 share deal this mroning.. Someone is hoovering
Don’t think anyone is expecting a dividend this year
Hmm, I must have got mixed up...
I agree, can't find any reference to July and last year was June 19th.
June update will be most welcome.
Tardis,
"I believe the next trading update is scheduled for July and not before"
Where did you read that as I haven't seen any announcement of a TU being scheduled?
Last year there was a TU on 19th June, a week before the AGM.
I believe the next trading update is scheduled for July and not before. I suppose there may be some sort of statement at the AGM.
Good to see someone loading up today - they obviously don't share the forecasts of doom of the bashers.
SP creeping up...
went through just before my 2 buys
Two Large 480,000 a peice shares buys just gone through (well they show as buys). Could be cancelling ones !!??
Somone loading Up again ?
Brass- Agree,
Take a little more slack out of the supply-demand by June 13th, making the SP more responsive to good news.
Then make some sort of an announcement at the AGM. Further buy-back and/or a positive piece of information about the companies progress.
They have set a low bar and plenty of headroom for unexpected positivity !
That’s how I would have played it. LOL
Brassneck,
It is fairly standard to expect an agm resolution to authorise the company to buy back shares and some sort of update.
I would hope they include fy2019 (Mar 2019) figures and operational review for rthm so everyone can assess how they were actually performing..They should have had enough time to analyse the full books and operational details of rthm..
It may be coincidence but on my tracker I have them running out of funds for the buy back on 13th June.
Happens to be the AGM so what chance of an announcement of increased funds for the buy back with some form of integration update?
Oh look, an RNS stating they bought back shares last Friday.
As expected ;-)
Stable base forming in the SP and close to moving through the 20 day moving average. Would be surprised to see any further movement down between now and July results.
the selling stopped,,thats why Schroders bought in
Sonny,
"Perhaps volume was a bit low yesterday. I think they will buy today and issue RNS on Monday."
There hasn't been much vol all week, yet they still continued the buy backs..
The vol today isn't high either, so if it was that, then why would they continue it today?
Perhaps volume was a bit low yesterday. I think they will buy today and issue RNS on Monday.
At least they are doing a buyback worth millions unlike that turd TLY you invested in where management screwed you with an imaginary buy back.
Have the buy back stopped?
Has anyone seen a rns for a buy back yesterday?.
The latest post fro stt1 , Off topic nothing to do with Tap , Non - Constructive , Potentially Defamatory , Disruptive and not Tap related.
Once again calling out another poster that has stated on this board that he does not wish to engage any further with stt1 for reasons obvious to everyone.
Close to 25,000 posts of the same nature , for how much longer do we need to put up with this.
Rules and all that.
Thank you Stt1-
A very interesting information and facts around Sizmek.
Have you had any further thoughts per my earlier suggestion to send this information to our Institutional investors who keep buying TAP shares as we speak?
You might save them a great deal of pain and money as they may NOT be aware of Sizmek and the Industry Challenges ahead.
Tricky,
"It is not generally thought that the fallout from Sizmek's filing for Chapter 11 will affect other ad tech companies.""
Were you able to find where you read that or was it your own opinion? .
Here are a list of 48 companies who were directly affected, financially, by Sizmek's filing for Chapter 11.. As DSPs/SSPs partner with each other, there could be many others who are indirectly affected..
https://ppc.land/sizmek-files-for-bankruptcy-with-over-64-million-dollars-in-claims/
Further, to help with your understanding the importance of Sizmek within the ad tech eco system...The key was their 3rd Party Ad Server, so not just the DSP.
According to reports, Amazon is looking to buy the key 3rd Party Ad Server to take on the Duopoly. This should lead to increased revenues for Amazon.
I think it's a good visionary move by Amazon.
Bloomberg: Amazon nears acquisition of key Sizmek ad tech as rivalry with Google grows

In the region of $500 million revenue and no doubt a big clean up happening as we speak.
Costs related to restructuring and integration should still result in a quality profit and yes we do have a potential bargain share price at present.
Not long to wait now and more time for the powers that be to make the changes that will result in a much leaner and profitable business model for years to come.
We are told they should add another $250mil revenue p/a.
Trading update in July will be the first look at the performance of the combined group.
If the combined group is profitable this company will look hideously undervalued.
According to the latest full year results:
Taptica remains highly cash generative, with a strong balance sheet and the board is confident in the overall outlook for the Group.
Tardis , great factual information , realistically speaking what should RTHM add to these figures ?
This could / should be a giant in the making.
Given this is a Taptica board, I find it strange how little Taptica is discussed.
So thought I would re-post this. Enjoy...
Taptica revenue in US Dollars
2013 - 43.1 million
2014 - 63.1 million
2015 - 75.8 million
2016 - 125.8 million
2017 - 210.9 million
2018 - 276. 9 million
Not exactly the figures of a failing company.
