Why the convertible bonds then. Which allowed you nstitutions to short the price down making a fortune.

I agree with you on JPM. But I was referring merely about Fraser in my post.
Error, you seem to have forgotten who chose to employ JPM. So need for calculations and assumptions. The employment contract for JPM should have made it very clear that there must be no shorting by them or any of their associated companies.
15 Lives,
Re: The one single over riding question above all others which those who proclaim Fraser orchestrsted this whole affair can not give an explanation for, is why someone would deliberately force a a share down to such a lowly figure, resulting in a one off payment instead of said payment instead being paid on an annual basis in the form of a dividend for the next potential one hundred years. Where in your calculations and assumptions, have you accounted for the actions of JPM whom via Highbridge shorted this share to death?

It doesn't seem like a great Aussie stitch up to you because it's not.
The one single over riding question above all others which those who proclaim Fraser orchestrsted this whole affair can not give an explanation for, is why someone would deliberately force a a share down to such a lowly figure, resulting in a one off payment instead of said payment instead being paid on an annual basis in the form of a dividend for the next potential one hundred years. Not to mention the adulation and kudos that would be bestowed on him in keeping Sirius successfully independent.
"ive been trying to work out from the director buys what it means for BoD. at 5.5p it seems to be a £3m+ loss for chairman Scrimshaw on shares he’s bought"

What's his cut of the 19 million blood money.
i guess the issue is that your gamble on a no and hope for rescue might take everyone down with you. im holding & hoping because any last minute upside is material for me. wipe out a disaster.
why do you think the board would feel they need to recommend this if a rescue was possible ? ive been trying to work out from the director buys what it means for BoD. at 5.5p it seems to be a £3m+ loss for chairman Scrimshaw on shares he’s bought in the market. someone help me out if I have that wrong !! doesnt really seem like a grand aussie stitch up that some like to claim.
Scotman, my agenda is to salvage my investment as best I see fit and that’s betting on a no vote followed by a rescue. I appreciate there is a downside risk of wipeout. The upside is dividends at 10/13/20 mta production.
Insinuate what you like but I’m transparent and my belief is genuine. In the fullness of time we’ll find out whether Ive been wasting my time and money advocating no but please don’t ever question my sincerity or motive.
“ No spin Scotman. That’s why I predicated it with “if”. Which side of the bed did you get out of today the sack Fraser side or kiss his ‘arris side. Dr Jekyl and Mr Hide got nothing on you. ”

Really? Nah, I guess I’m probably a bit more like most genuine followers of this project since it’s inception.
Sometimes I still want to be supporting it and sometimes I feel shareholders have been very let down.
I do however appreciate it was never goi g to be complete until finance was over the line
You may recall ( if you’ve been here with a longtermview that I have very often warned of this hurdle.
Unlike you. I don’t post with any agenda. Just how I may feel at the time of posting
Right now I couldn’t care less.
Take care
(A 5.1p fall can bank you some profits).
LTV ,
Hope ?
Who knows what terms of employment they are all on and how any of them would feel about working for someone else ..
Everyone has mouths to feed no matter what level your qualifications are ..
I'm sure they are all privy to a hell of a lot more than we are ..
We don't know who may be leaving or not! this is just guesswork here from all of us !
But ffc there is no AAL deal, just an AAL offer. And I hope the offer ends up where he sun don’t shine
LTV
It would be easy to see Clark moving on IF he knew of the aal deal .. I'm guessing but aal were involved with ICL when he worked at Boulby ???
No spin Scotman. That’s why I predicated it with “if”. Which side of the bed did you get out of today the sack Fraser side or kiss his ‘arris side. Dr Jekyl and Mr Hide got nothing on you.
Not sure why employees should be heading for the lifeboats. We’re we not told AAL would keep the same plan for at least the next two years.
Or was that a lie too.
Spin that.
I’m sure there will be a few following up on securing ongoing work elsewhere during this period of uncertainty.
It should be expected.
“ If it’s true he’s been shown the door,”

Where was it indicated in the thread that he may have been shown the door?
You’ve just thrown that spin in there for another pop at CF.
Jeez man! Stick to facts!
Not absolutely sure but wasn't Simon Carter's name up at the same time as Clark re some kind of top brass shuffle ??
To be fair, the construction seems to be on track, maybe even ahead of schedule, given they’ve slowed it down recently. So Mr Clarke seems to be pulling his weight. If it’s true he’s been shown the door, it would be just another indication of the ruthless heartless nature of that barsteward Fraser.
We know he doesn’t give a stuff about shareholders but he was quoted about being “devastated” for employees. But yet he’s cleaning house already.
What a legend Fraser. To quote a John Lennon lyric “how do you sleep at night”.
Poly there was something back in Nov-Dec that he was no longer a "director-board member" but nobody could work out the implications ???
Perhaps aal next move is to take you guys over it wouldn't surprise me !! would Clark have wanted to be interested with you again or visa-versa
Yes, heard the same as well.
Heard Graham Clark is leaving Sirius, I don't know if its been mentioned before I don't come on very often.
