There is a market for iron ore but could one be created for poly4?
Sales were to brokers who had little ability to influence demand, that would be determined by end users or fertiliser manufacturers. The NPV numbers provided by the company were were as guaranteed as the funding proved to be.
There is far to much profit involved ,decades of profit ahead , for a pittance of 405 million , supported and achieved through hearts and minds of local investors , ive question for those with far more financial than me . Fraser and co raised 2 billions for fortescue in the early 2000s with interest rates at 5/6 % , interest rates through out the world, today probably average about 1% , and he cannot raise after working for world wide banking sectors, or is it just to simple , in my simple mind , answers on a post card
ffc there may not be 85,000 holders voting but I bet many that have sold out will be taking the survey and would buy back in and participate in a raise given the opportunity - and how many new investors will be recruited by holders that see a good return from the bond and want to help their friends and family recover their losses.
Hi Scott. OK a few 1000 will vote no, i still think it will mean diddly squat. I am not at all happy about this sorry state of affairs and feel sorry for the "all in" holders, but i feel the offer will be forced on us. There is much too much profit involved in this project and the big boys want it all. ATB Speedy
I agree Scott
We are up to about 1000 members on sharesoc atm and I don't think many of them will be voting yes !
I'm sure there are nowhere near 85k PIs anymore but I'm convinced there are enough to stop this joke offer from aal and the BOD
A few hundred , they no theres far more than that voting no , more likely in the 1000s who are so suspiciois of fraser financial mis givings in the last ten months , this is not over if no.
Speedy yes we are fed up with the bod but I think most are voting no mainly because we believe it wont come to administration ! As for JPM ,personally that's not on my agenda and tbh I don't think too many here care either ..
As for a better offer than 5.5 ??? that's also not an issue for most here I believe ? how many times have the NO voters here mentioned trying for a better offer ??
I honestly think funding for some reason has taken a back seat by the bod in favour of the aal offer !
Also, It seems the bashers here are obsessed with making it about a better offer? yet we are obsessed with a funding option !
ffc
Hi All. How many holders here will vote no and lose all their funds just to spite the BODs. Maybe a few hundred at most.
--------
Speedy if it was a few hundred the BOD wouldn't be ****ting themselves and issuing scaremongering RNS's; intimidating holders on the phone and putting out articled in the press. They see their cushy arrangement with AAL unravelling and their reaction has been illuminating.
Hi All. How many holders here will vote no and lose all their funds just to spite the BODs. Maybe a few hundred at most. I pains me to say it but the offer of 5.5p is about as good as it is going to get. JPM have played us and the BODs. Take it out on JPM not the BODs and yourselves. If you do not care about your remaining funds start up a investigation into Highbridge shorting SXX with insider knowledge from their JPM drinking pals. Very difficult to do but not impossible, just need to find a disgruntled JPM/Highbridge employee with the knowledge. JPM never ever lose. ATB Speedy
