RMR1969 - Good Luck, i believe you have got in early, wait till the herd cotton onto this. Meanwhile, the bid keeps ticking up. Realistic value currently should be 12-15p DYOR
Many thanks, missed that appreciate you coming back to me. Looks like SVE really only just getting noticed, I only got in yesterday, should have been in a few days ok when I was made aware of this company.
Odd that it is generally valued at 50% of it's holdings, makes little sense to me, appreciate they may have to take a slight hit if they sold any large investment but not anywhere like that, so certainly appears to be value here.
GGP will increase in value too over time I am convinced so we can ride the back of that and hopefully some of the other investments we have here.
Best of luck.
Our GGP shares are currently valued at 4.43M... market missing this, just look at OUR mcap.
we own 0.95% of CORA
See RNS
How many shares do we have in Cora Gold, I cannot see it anywhere on the website, help appreciated.
interestingly I have dealing accounts with Halifax and HL, Halifax would not allow me to trade this share, never come across that before, no issues at all with HL............
excellent point saintpeter7, I have to confess that I need to carry out a little more work and research on that, did take a look at the web site but will investigate further. Thanks
ok, that interesting, why would that be then?
I guess if they tried to liquidate them all then they would need to do so at a slight reduction in value but 50% seems a bit peculiar.
GGP is likely to continue it's rise, pretty sure it is not done yet and with the market cap covered by the holdings there alone, nice to have the benefit of any uplift there and also the remainder of investments as a 'free ride'.
I only took a small position to be honest, have more in GGP but happy to be involved, a little surprised it is as quiet as it is on here, makes a nice change to some of the nonsense you get on other BBs - GLA
This is a good share to follow so that you can buy in when news happens in one of its investee companies before the market realises/remembers the link.
The only other fact to take into account is that on average SVE 's mcap shows about a 50% discount to market value of its investments. That goes out the window when investors are interested in the company and momentum is with the share buying. Not deramping as I am not invested and shows in their annual reports.
Nope, I dont think so.
with 56m shares in issue the market cap here is £3.5m with a share price of 0.0625p - yes?
SVE own 85m shares in GGP (confirmed on website) which at todays price of 0.051 amounts to £4.335m - yes?
There is therefore a discrepancy of £835k to market cap from the GGP shares alone - yes?
SVE own a number of other shares in projects around the world - yes?
SVE are undervalued to the tune of nearly 24% on the GGP shares alone taking no account whatsoever of the value of anything else they hold - yes?
Late to the party I appreciate, needed to get funds into correct trading account etc etc, however I am now in!
Am I missing anything in the above.........?

85m GGP holding and 20m ORCP here. What else?
Actual spread 5.7 / 6. Only 54m shares in issue.
A big spread between buy at 5.8p and sell at 5.0p. Why so high ? I bought in at 5.441p this morning.
GGP is a monster =SVE holders are happy having 85m shares
Its been very quiet here for a couple of years. Now in one day this has shot into profit but still undervalued of course.
We are normally lucky to get 2 chats and 5 trades and now its like Piccadilly Circus.
Welcome one and all
30% discount to GGP here currently.
Thank you MickR for highlighting this anomaly on the ggp bb this morning...
GGP is worth north of 6p and heading that way so see the value here
Hopefully SVE should keep tracking up with the GGP rise
85m shares so at the current Ggp sp that’s worth about £3.7m to SVE and the current SVE cap 2.8m. Nothing else included.
Worth circa £3.7m today.
Just under 3%. They could do with increasing to 107m for 3%. That would catalyst both stocks.
