market cap. of £5M for a company making £26M a year? i want to ask, where are the market forces these days? Hey-ho...
Did not see this before but certainly is good news http://www.commsbusiness.co.uk/RSS_News_Articles.cfm?NewsID=7663
The outlook for SPIRITEL is excellent and this is reflected in their last set of results....we are now awaiting the next set of results and perhaps a trading statement before the results expected.....I cannot imagine anything but above average results/potential for this superb company who has done everything right in the present economic climate and will go on to prove its strengths and together we will have a re rating for the shares which are TOTALLY UNDERVALUED Outlook Management will continue to execute its Acquire, Integrate and Grow strategy to build upon its track record of adding earnings enhancing acquisitions. This will be complemented by organic growth from cross-selling activity, where we made significant progress during the period under review. The Group's increased banking facility, provided in turbulent economic times, serves as a strong endorsement of our strategy and financial results. Our consistent growth in earnings continues to improve the Group's financial stability and we operate with a relatively low level of senior debt relative to earnings. We will also continue to improve earnings visability with a migration from one off capital sales towards managed services and longer term contracts. Our increasing level of contracted revenues and the growth of our order pipeline underpin our expectations for the year and we look forward to continuing the delivery of value to shareholders. The economic outlook for 2009 remains volatile and challeng
Some sustained buying today pushed up the SP by 12% with ONLY A SELL AT 0.50 HOLDING IT BACK. As I said, a great price to get in on this surprisingly stable AIM stock. For a small company they are at the top of their game gaining many awards within their field of expertise. However, Alistair Mills must receive most of the praise for his aggressive style of pushing this company back into the limelight. All companies are feeling the pinch but I believe Spiritel will fair better than most and be on fire once the recession subsides. Just my thoughts of course but the facts speak for themselves! GL
Company trying its best to consolidate acquisitions and new business. Is iSTP mobile, traditional voice or simply a very junior Kingston Comms. Margins in sector being squeezed all the time, Penta investment value down because of economy and cash payments are required in 09/10 to former owners of acquired companies. Opinion split on investment value, core company contract base will see them through, BBC, Whitbread & Marriott support STP. Market is expecting news release soon.
I bought more in here this week to try to get to my 1 million target. I have 1 million shares in XTR and am now concentrating on Spiritel as this is a great entry price. Its been a while since they released any news so another large contract could be just around the corner. Even without any new business STP can return positive increases through organic growth of their new acquisitions. In hard times companies will be looking for cheaper alternatives and consolidation which Spiritel can provide.
anyone whatching or in these?
3 year cross sale contract worth over £1Mns with a major East European hotel group.
I bought into STP 2005 and had no luck with them they have just gone down down down ! maybe its a waiting game but for how much longer !
Highlights to 31st October 2008...Turnover up 62% to £11.1mns; Gross profits up 64% to £4.2Mns; Earnings before interest tax and depreciation up 270% to £.87mns; pre tax loss £1.7Mns down from £2.3Mns. All in all not a poor set of results but fully expected..
given the contract nature of the business.
I think we'll see short and long term here. Agree with the 2p, but am in long term as I see the potential for a buy-out / take over by one of the bigger comms firms. The investment's reasonably safe too given the contact nature of the business.
like many they are a risk but like an earlier post said that the SP should be 2p could be realised sooner than we think
If it is Travelodge then it will be the second major leisure client that STP "wired up" because in June 2007 it beganupgraded Regent Inn outlets. There has been some very lucrative contract wins of late but has been overlooked by the general economic downturn. But there is no doubt STP is pushing the right buttons.
it is travelodge but not had confirmation of this. got in on these at 0.8p so things might start looking up GL
Hi Worbs. Do you know who the likely Hotel chain is? I second guessed it earlier today !!! Any thoughts?
CONTRACT WIN SPIRITEL WINS PRIVATE VOICE NETWORK CONTRACT WITH MAJOR INTERNATIONAL HOTEL GROUP, INCREASES RECURRING REVENUE SpiriTel Plc, (AIM:STP), the business communications service provider, is pleased to announce that it has won a major private voice network contract with a leading international hotel group. The two year deal, expected to generate £600,000 of revenue, is a significant cross selling success for SpiriTel who will replace BT as the provider of the customer's private UK voice service. In addition, the customer has renewed a three-year maintenance agreement with the Company, which is expected to generate over £2 million of revenue. This contract win is further evidence of the successful delivery of SpiriTel's "acquire, integrate and grow" strategy, with organic growth being driven from cross-selling the Group's expanded product range covering fixed, mobile, data and networking services. The contract brings the total of cross-sales orders to over £2 million since the April 2008 year end. SpiriTel is also in negotiations to provide an additional, UK-wide voice replacement service covering all the customer's sites. Commenting on the new contract win and renewal, Alastair Mills, CEO of SpiriTel said: "Following the renewal of their maintenance contract, we were delighted to be awarded a major contract to replace a BT service for this customer, one of our existing global hotel customers. This is
Worth around £600,000 in a two year deal with a major hotel chain, Travelodge was mooted as being the chain upgrading its wireless internet access, STP will replace BT. In a further move, an existing supply contract has been extended for a further 3 years and is expected to generate some some £3mns in sales.
What's happening with their 2008 results/report? http://www.second2digital.com/spiritel/spi004/invest_report.htm
I bought in to these at .60p and if it hits 2p again it will net me a 233% profit, surely nobody can grumble at that. A good safe stock, which is growing in confidence all the time and is not just a one trick pony!
