I had attributed that 150k to you Dibs61. My coffers are already rammed to the gills with STL shares.
That was a handsome buy the other day @ 5.7. Not you pulling the trigger was it luke? ;)
Funnily enough Dibs61, I funded my account yesterday in order to add a few. The MMs have always been trigger happy with the Stilo share price, never wanting to hold, yet very reluctant to go short.Additionally, imo, they havn't got a clue what the STL story is all about. For me,Stilo is an absolute gem of a company that well cross the chasm sometime over the next couple of years. That is if IBM don't make a move first.
SP Getting to a rather attractive level again. May top up on Monday
Thank you Dibs61. It is good to see that the Stilo share price is once again reflecting the continued buying activity. Even after the last marked trade, being a 100k sale ,the MMs remain keen to buy stock, currently bidding 6.55 pence for 100,000+ shares. I am waiting with baited breath in anticipation of a 7.00 pence trade !
Interesting post. Always like to read your thoughts. Just you and me here isn't it? Even Stilolosses (who will surely soon change his/her user name to 'Stilogains' has disappeared. I think most punters either don't understand/don't want to understand this company or think it's boring. They'll just look at oil or resource stocks. Perhaps people just think that this will always be a plodder? But I would say look at the progress. Look, particularly, at what the SP has done over the past year - that is THE most significant endorsement of what the company is doing. The IBM partnership looks like it's going to another level now which will be a game changer for little Stilo.
As you say Dibs61,it is most odd. The bid has edged up again this morning, whilst the MMs will not part with any stock. I even tried a fill and kill @ 6.66 pence,to no avail(failed). At the last Stilo AGM the CEO stressed that AuthorBridge was not being offered to large organisations as a peripheral service;rather that it would be deployed at the very core of the enterprise. For me then,it is hugely relevant that STL have very recently amended their website to read,"AuthorBridge from Stilo.......... breaking down the barriers to enterprise DITA adoption." This quantum leap has been enabled by Stilo's long term collaboration with IBM. "We have made considerable progress with the development of AuthorBridge in 2015, working closely with an internationally renowned customer that has helped guide our technical efforts. Following successful beta testing, AuthorBridge is now scheduled to be deployed by them in full production in the coming months." Where IBM lead, might not the rest of the corporate world follow. Stilo could be huge.It might lose its independence. Whatever path is followed, investors could be exceedingly well rewarded. Well worth buying, imo.
Very odd that we should be down at all today with buys outweighing sells by a large margin. As you say a dummy sell goes for 6.095p I have 10 stocks currently in my PF and this is the one I have the greatest confidence in.
Very odd market, for the Stilo SP is about to show a fall to just 6 pence;yet one can sell in size for 6.095 pence ! I wonder which direction the next move will be in.
AGM Wednesday, 18 May 2016 at 11.30am – at the offices of on RSM UK Audit LLP, 25 Farringdon Street, London EC4A 4AB. I hope someone from the LSE could turn up,enjoy and provide some feedback, for I will be away on the 18th. I had been seeking a link to the presentation that Stilo gave, along with IBM’s Mike Iantosca, at CMS/DITA North America 2016 . Stilo have advised me that although the conference sessions were not recorded, they are repeating the presentation as part of the Stilo DITA Knowledge Series on Wednesday 15 June at 5,00pm BST,with the necessary link for registration being available on the STL website. The share price shows a fall this morning, yet the bid has just risen to 6.095;its fourth consecutive small incremental increase over recent days. Looking good all round, imo.
Thanks for the reassurance Dibs ! I have just bought another 50k and had to pay a slightly higher price,so maybe the matching seller is less evident today. Rather funny though when one feels happier for having to pay extra.
Clearly a background seller matched against you then. Not to worry, good sound long term purchases on your part no doubt. Which I'm sure will be rewarded against the positive fundamentals we have here.
I kept buying STL shares this morning(shown as sells)only to see the SP fall after each purchase. Bizarre.
And we haven't dropped :)
Good to see the bid creeping up all day, ending up at 6.09,and this despite a couple of sales. The chart very much continues to suggest further upward progress in the SP. It will be a red letter day for me when the is a trade at 7 pence !
Bakunin, who posts on the ADVFN thread and who worked with IBM wrote this extremely prescient piece back in May 2015. "So, I'm pondering over AuthorBridge being introduced into a crowded market place for DITA publishing tools, it being targetted at SMEs and for occasional use. I'm wondering where the demand for such an offering could be and why, if it is targetted at SMEs and for occasional use, would a major enterprise, possibly IBM, be beta-testing this product. Why would SMEs want to use such a tool? What if they were forced to provide documentation in DITA format and existing DITA publishing tools are very expensive for an occasional contribution. What if a condition of performing sub-contract work for an organisation like IBM were that they provide documentation in DITA format. What if it were more convenient for an organisation like IBM to standardise all of its sub-contractors around a cloud-based tool like AuthorBridge, AuthorBridge possibly becoming a kind of documentation collaboration tool between say IBM and its sub-contractors. IBM get to mandate documentation in DITA format and sub-contractors performing occasional work for IBM wouldn't need to invest in expensive software just for that one single task. If such a scenario were to pan out then AuthorBridge, especially with a capability to perform automatic conversion of legacy material (which I presume would be a big differentiator from the competition and only really made effective because of Omnimark), could become a serious, mission-critical, scalable tool, nay platform, commanding revenue streams much superior to those that Stilo has produced in the past. There would also be a clear development roadmap, turning the app bit by bit into a full collaboration tool/platform between major IT service providers and sub-contractors, leading to SaaS licence fees from major organisations as well as the ongoing usage fees from sub-contractors. If the above is not pie in the sky, then I can't wait for them to launch this damn AuthorBridge product." Well launch has now commenced and whilst Stilo is not yet in orbit, there was certainly some considerable thrust behind today's price rise.
Stonking day. New higher closing high.
Further to yesterday's rise - which I telegraphed. But only on 1 25k buy? Surely not. There must be a delayed buy or two to be reported later.
And there's the bounce with a nice intraday reversal.
I would expect this to be the final drop as we've hit the bottom of the rising trend line. We should bounce from here.
@ 5.5749 1 year chart superb - uptrend still firmly intact.
Indeed. I doubt they would mention the two words "elusive proposition" unless they felt they had their own solution. The SP continues to rise and if you survey the long term charts there is a steady climb going on here which is stating clearly that this company is on the UP. And this is despite having a seller in BD over the past few months.
Next Monday in Virginia,IBM and STL are due share the same platform. This occasion shoud serve to formally announce the tie up between David and Goliath tothe US$3,000 per head delegates at the CMS/DITA conference. The subject ? Intelligent Content Authoring for Everyone "******************************************* The power of intelligent content becomes possible only when that intelligence is intentionally injected, most often in the form of structure and descriptive semantics. That intelligence helps machines do their automated magic. Most often, the needed structure and semantics are added by humans during content authoring. Content management, for both content development and delivery, generally becomes more powerful, flexible, and valuable with the growth of structure and semantics–but at the price of complexity and required skills for content creators. Structured content authoring tools have advanced, masking some of that complexity, but even so-called lightweight and tag-less authoring tools leave gaps for diverse content creators and contributors, making intelligent content component strategies for the enterprise an elusive proposition." The key words here, imo, are "an elusive proposition". Could it be that our micro-cap Stilo is within touching distance of this holy grail of content authoring. Should this be the case then the share price should really catch fire.
Recovered much of the lost ground in past couple of weeks from the sell on news brigade. Onwards and upwards.
Lukehere I totally agree. Absolutely going to be a wonderful set of results that will come through in due course. Stilo is definitely going places. Lets see what the AGM brings in May. Absolutely got my support 150%. Those who buy now will reap the rewards.
