Some cracking updates from Easy Jet and IAG this week. Great passenger numbers, will translate to great numbers for SSPG too. Results in Dec, get in now as they won't be sub 200p afterwards, dyor etc
Great news that airlines are in a strong recovery - looking forward to the next update at full year results time in December Chinese flights back in full swing ;-)
Topped up again at 200p, this share price will look a gift in 2023, imo of course..
Decent buy volume today, bodes well
2023 price target 300 to 400p with a fair wind, certainly not out of the question to double bag her within 12 months imo..
Hopefully the start of a decent rise in SP from ridiculously over sold levels...
True. This company should never be at this price but the market is very fearful. If this onslaught continues, someone at the top of the government will be pushed out. The market will talk…..
SSPG and a host of other FTSE250 companies must be on alot of foreign M&A target lists at these prices, particularly those from the US
What a gift opportunity to top up at 200p today :-)
I have topped up and will continue to if the SP drops back to 200p
Results pretty much as I would have expected. I sold all my holding this morning at 2.22. To be honest, I really don’t understand this market at the moment. If I miss the jump up but it seems the market is surrounded by uncertainty at the moment. If the US begins to drop we are all in trouble. I wish you the best of fortune.
Nearly back to 2019 performance when SP was 5 1/2 quid . Under normal circumstances this would be flying but unfortunately there’s nothing normal at the moment.
Lol - watch them load up now then raise it again...
JPMorgan cuts SSP price target to 320 (340) pence - 'overweight'
Wow, now that's a strong update! Surely the SP should be nearer 300p on those figures and outlook, should trigger some tasty broker upgrades. Happy to hold and keep adding on any weakness here.
Last chance to buy pre market update... 2.5 hrs to the close...
Update on trading on Tuesday, can only be good after the busy summer trading, with very busy airports world wide, outlook should also be very good with inflation looking likely to fall soon with the oil price dropping, these look at bargain basement levels to me. Good luck holders...
Have added today at 205p...crazy SP...
A stake being quietly built by someone based on the UT trades at 16.35...
Also with the CEO buying a big chunk in May he must be confident going forward and will know the shares are hugely undervalued...fingers x'ed
I think looking at the share price movements SSPG just tracks the airline shares like IAG, small automotive trades take it up and down with them. SSPG should produce a decent update and the full year results in December should be very positive imo, demanding a re rating of the SP, fingers crossed
Dave. I agree, the update should be okay with far more people travelling nowadays. I am in at 2.31 but the market at the moment makes no sense to me at all. SSP might be seen as a company that is susceptible to the recession as people cut back on spending. All my shares are heavily in the red and I thought travel shares would head up post Covid but clearly I was wrong. You perhaps need to be slightly worried that I am invested in SSP….I am not a great investor. Fingers crossed for next week
Update next Tuesday...
SSPG trading update due soon and based on what will have been strong summer trading the figures should be very good. Not sure on the outlook but personally don't think it will be as bad as many are forecasting, happy to add and HD at these levels, a great medium term investment imo. GLA holders
Sold half my holdings. This share should never be here but it is being manipulated (in my opinion) by the market players. Ever since two TR1 RNS’s came in, it has plummeted. I don’t like what I see.
