low stock
I guess a significant RNS is possible and the MMs have got wind of it.
Some move. Someone must be buying heavily in the background and the MMs are desperate for stock.
full offer to sell current cant buy - tick up(s) imminent
at current offer
Something happening here. People happy to pay way over the offer (12.5p, 13p) for decent amounts of stock.
Fairly motoring now. PJ also involved in LION which has multi-bagged in a few days. LION profit takers moving in here perhaps.
The long term chart is starting to look very good now. A breakout above 10p and it could really get motoring. http://goo.gl/HBG8Qw
Yet more buying... Another 1% into sticky hands.... L
"Have been watching #SRO for 5 years - I think it's high time for the company to take a bold step for shareholders!" https://twitter.com/pauljohnson9691/status/937930747419217921 "#Sro Paul, will you be an active shareholder, as with your other investments? And have you, or will you be talking to the board around future business strategy?" "#SRO now there's an interesting one!!" https://twitter.com/pauljohnson9691/status/936622966217027584
Breaking out to new highs now. PJ has been buying yet more and is now up to nearly 10% of the company. He must have something planned. https://investegate.co.uk/spitfire-oil-limited--sro-/rns/holding-s--in-company/201712041440413244Y Will this follow in the footsteps of his prior successes in GGP, CON, THR, LION etc. There does seem to be a pattern.
So, PJ has upped his stake to nearly 10%.... Dont think the market has noticed yet.... L
Nice to see more buys L.
appears RTO anyone?
Heading to 10p.
cash 2m and asset, news over due hopefully next week
Whilst I am no fan of BMD you have to hand it to him for getting this one spot-on. Someone is going to lose a lot of money and I doubt it will be Johnson. I think that If you have a few mil to chuck around it would seem that small cap illiquid AIM stocks are the ripest place for a touch of market manipulation and a quick profit. I would prefer to sleep at night.
The advertised spread is certainly wide but it's not the real one. For 1k it's 6.15 - 6.725 and not 6 - 7 as advertised. Of course with a share this illiquid it can change in an instant and before you know it with a buy or two the bid is back up at 6.5. The value is just as it was yesterday with 2.1m of cash vs. 2m market cap. The only difference is you can buy price on the pullback instead of having to chase it when it's 30% as people did yesterday.
Lots of one day losers in the trades today. No. of shares - bought price yesterday - sold price today 25,305 - 7.88 - 6.6 4,654 - 7.95 - 6.02 52,158 - 7.645 - 6.35 25,305 - 7.88 - 6.6 55,119 - 7.79 - 6.52 6,759 - 7.8 - 7.06 22,033 - 7.45 - 7.2 32,150 - 8 - 7.2 The spike up and down is exaggerated by all those who chased it yesterday then dumped with a loss today. The dip buyer with 2 lots of 75k seems more switched on, snapping up shares when they're on sale.
Spread is too big, need to buy at 6.75
Fast aswell
All sells some at loss. Not the best way to trade.
Not many shares in issue, bargain at these levels more cash than mkt cap is no brainer imo
My mistake, 7.72
Can buy plenty at 7.2
