PC’s statement is exactly as expected, with no new news. We just have to wait, safe in the knowledge that the market demand for our assets are improving and have a clear direction of travel. This gives me a great deal of comfort. I would think that the deals being discussed might involve both the CS and Hazen project, and include the perlite as it can be ground down. This will explain why there is no separate mention. I will ask at the AGM as I aim to attend. With a low cost base, it is better to wait for the right deal rather than one that gives suboptimal shareholder value. I can however see why some shareholders are frustrated, and have a lower level of patience, having had expectations enhanced two years ago. PC is honest about this, and rather than keep criticising PC I would sell up. PC is going to go as quickly as the market dictates, and I support that approach, there is no alternative.
I would ny even entertain the company that hasn't even ground the 500tonne sample given the time they've had , clearly demonstrates no urgency ,no commitment, as for the chair.ans statement as I said same old drivel , nothing at all on Perlite ! Absolute joke
Despite being told the pozz market is growing etc etc we can see the appetite from the CRMC's for change is not there - No commitment on the CS project and the bulk sample taken from the Hazen project at the end of 2022 still hasn't been processed !! - hardly a good endorsement for an industry change .......
Just our luck -the royalty we hold doesn't cover the area of the bonanza silver grades recorded !
Please see a link below to a news release made today by Golden Metal Resources (GMR).
Sunrise Resources plc holds 2% net smelter return royalty at Garfield which covers the majority of the new bullseye target area and a portion of the uranium anomaly highlighted in today’s announcement by GMR. Royalty interests carry no exposure to the risk associated with exploration costs, mine capital or operating costs and can be a valuable type of project interest.
Sunrise has agreements with a number of leading companies, including Kinross Gold and Tolsa SA, which may lead to future royalty streams.

Hyperbole Tottyman, look at historic voting. We could be days, weeks or months away from news on the CS project. The assets are still in the ground, relax. I am sure PC is doing his best to maximise shareholder value, the timing of deals will depend on the market rather than shareholder noise. It is frustrating with the share price as it is, but we have to be patient. There is no alternative, that is reality. Hopefully PC will become your hero, that is what I am betting on. I am pleased with the Tolsa deal, and pleased with the Goldstone news.
How many more excuses are we going to here from cheatham about his failure to deliver , how much longer are his investors prepared to put up with his excuses , I'm hedging my bets as the next agm will be his last
A bit frustrating, I would agree with you Safe. However the assets are still there. I hope to go to the AGM, so will have a better view of the status and hopefully be able to extract an Idea of the potential value of the discussions. In the meantime in my view it was ok news with Tolsa, so we have a bit of money, Patience is certainly a virtue here. GL everyone, a depressing market for commodities as a whole and SRES share price!
Sp nearly 2 years ago :-
For a protracted period, and as first advised in the announcement of 17 December 2020, the Company has been working with a large cement and ready-mix company (CRMC) in providing samples for commercial testing and has been holding regular negotiations and, more recently, discussing terms for a joint development of the CS Natural Pozzolan-Perlite Project.
The Company's pozzolan has passed all of the CRMC's testing programmes, including large scale grinding tests on a 500-ton bulk sample of run-of-mine pozzolan. This demonstrated the commercial application of the Company's high quality natural pozzolan as a substitute for fly ash and cement in concrete, both on a bench scale and in real-life concrete pours.
However, the Company has now terminated further negotiations with the CRMC as the already extended discussions have failed to reach a satisfactory conclusion. The Company will now prioritise ongoing discussions with other potential partners for the CS Project.
Commenting today, Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham said: "We are frustrated that the CRMC has been unable to fully commit to the project in any acceptable timeframe, despite the obvious pressures faced by cement and ready-mix companies to develop sustainable strategies to lower the embodied carbon contained in their concrete products. Our mine permits continue in force and we believe that the testwork carried out by the CRMC on CS natural pozzolan has materially increased the value of the project to the Company and other interested parties. The Board remains confident that a suitable partner will be secured for development of the CS Project, and we will now concentrate on discussions with other parties currently testing samples and reviewing data on the project."
REMAINS CONFIDENT ABOUT THE OTHER PARTIES !!!
What other parties ? We don't even know who the first one was - or are we now signing NDA's with every company who even makes an enquiry.
We are where we are because this BID coukdn't run a raffle in the village hall.
Don't hear much from you these days PC ?
I couldn't give a dam about your posts. I'm only interested in cs.
It's the annual report I'm interested in as well as the year end accounts , really want to know where the money has gone with deferred shares issue announced ,
Looks like PC was listening to you Tottyman. RNS out today tells us pretty much what we already know so no increase in SP unfortunately. I think PC could have added something to make it seem more positive but that is perhaps expecting too much.
There will be nothing new in the annual report when we get it , same old drivel from a bunch of incompetents! In talks , blah blah
So last RNS re Pioche:
Sunrise has granted Tolsa a 12-month extension to its option to purchase the Pioche Sepiolite Project.
Tolsa to pay Sunrise an option extension fee of US$100,000 prior to 15 January 2024.
So we have to assume that this did happen but this is where year after year SRES falls short :
- no communication with the shareholders, we are left to assume and speculate on what might be ...... oh an an inability to negotiate and close a deals.
2024 starts off like the last 10 yrs with share holders have to guess what is going on - no factual updates on anything.
What is going on with the CS project - we must assume nothing but there we go again making assumptions
PC you need to start the PR machine and give us factual updates good or bad - leaving us to assume constantly leaves the SP dropping lower and lower
Annual report ?? - shall we write our own ??
The 15th, prior to, was slightly late, arrived on the 16th etc etc,
Its most likely the money will be paid on the day ( tomorrow ) then we we get the full year results and statement.
This has probably been delayed somewhat as he has more than likely re written it several times, issuing, then deleted his sentence of
" We will hit the ground running in 2024 and this year will be transformational for the company "
Still, we can hope !!
Or is that open to interpretation as everything else cheatham spews out generally is
He stated prior to 15th
Sorry 15th
When is 16th Jan
Perhaps cheatham could have the courtesy as to whether sres have received this cash $, he stated in an rns prior tolsa to pay prior to 15th , another example of his attitude towards private investors
Tolsa to pay Sunrise an option extension fee of US$100,000 prior to 15 January 2024.
SBADH Tree
Yeah i know you are Caddy, don't know what you hold or what your average is, but is it really worth it unloading at the current level, especially if no upward movement, which there hasnt been in aons. If nothing re cs, perlite, or hazen upcoming, at least hold until the Tolsa verdict. Be careful though what you post, you may be criticized for negativity..
Well Treestump. I am also a lth (well over 10 years). Every year try to convince myself that this will be the year. I have decided that this is my last year win or lose. It just makes me wonder what PC has been doing all that time as I don't think we have achieved anything of note. We just keep being told that we have great assets that everybody wants but nobody seems to want to buy.
Yeah, proud of it and when im full of my own self importance like you, add that to the list. Yawn..
