I think this is dragging on a bit now surely they would have completed this by now ok saying September then it will be November ect ect .a bit of update would be ok even emails to certain shareholders and by word of mouth we will at least know where we are at ??
Yes, I guess so !
Can't they RNS on JP Jenkins like they did in February?
The can’t RNS they’re not a trading company ‘yet’ - last update ‘delayed till Sept’
It's now been over a year since we were able to trade our shares... The last official communication (RNS) from the company on JP Jenkins was more than 6 months ago... Surely they should be updating us by now?
It's going to be a little longer - expectation is September now !
Just what's going on here?
Over a month since that email from Peter, where he stated the prospectus has been approved.
Lets get the show on the road pal, bang on a year since the shares were suspended.
Come on SPC. Getting bored now
Not long now…. patience will be rewarded imho :)
Would welcome any updates. This is really dragging out now.
Thanks for posting . ATB
This from ADVFN board 1 Jul
I contacted Peter Jay to ask him about the current position in view of the claims being made by certain posters.
He has asked me to post his response on ADVFN .....
I resent anyone casting doubt on the intentions of the directors of UK SPAC or Hellenic and I can assure you that this transaction is as far from being a “con” as you can get. It is complex, has taken up most of my working time for the last two years and has (with thanks to the FCA) taken far longer to complete that we had anticipated. The contents of the prospectus have been approved and the advisers and the directors are working on the final details before convening the EGM ahead of completion/admission.
All parties involved are excited about the prospects for the new business.
I can assure you that, as a former partner (and later senior partner) in a leading West End law firm and then partner in one of the leading national law firms I have never been and would never be involved in any scheme intended enrich the directors at the expense of shareholders. The intention of the transaction has always been to return greater value to the shareholders of the former Mountfield Group than they would have received if the Company had been place into Members Voluntary Liquidation following the sale of its former trading operations.
Directors' fees have been modest and the reward for us will in the form of options so we will only gain if the shareholders do so as well. The allegations are fanciful and clearly defamatory and made by someone with too little knowledge and too much imagination. An unhappy combination.
Kind regards
Peter
For what it's worth - I believe selling anything is mad in the current climate - 100's of companies are being undervalued, and patience is the plan, whether you've got £3.6k or £3.6m invested - hold on unless you need it ! the MM's are having a hard time too mopping up sells and taking loses - this will end and shares will rise if they have cash, liquidity and a good management team
If this realists at 0.47 p what are your guys thoughts are you selling up straight away or keeping them as a good investment. I’ve got £3.6 k invested here . Regards JP
Better to wait for market recovery???
We are working towards July but it is the centre of the holiday period and the market is sluggish so no guarantees as to the actual date as yet.
Patience, theres alot os legislation that is beneficial to helleinc so your probably looking at a rerate when it does relist so u gonna have to wait for that unless u wana sell at 0.47 opening price
When the fcuk is this happening all we do is seem to wait its a joke its taking this length of time
Hope your right as been a long wait
Does people think Monday after the warrant date on the 10th ??
Hopefully not long Billy Boy.
But when is the tick tick likely to be concluded anyone know ???
Tick Tock :)
I too invested here because of Cathal. Not a large amount but a bit of a punt and intrigued to see what business i would end up owning shares in. Very excited now with what Peter and his colleagues have unearthed and may well increase my holding after the off.
and this from the 17th may update suggests it's likely before 12th June too, and presenting to warrant holders today 2pm
"In order to provide warrant holders (issued as part of the placing in March 2021) the opportunity to exercise their warrants with the knowledge that the transaction is likely to conclude in reasonably short order, these extensions have also included extending the expiry dates that the warrants can convert into ordinary shares in the capital of UK SPAC. In light of the progress and position the Boards of UK SPAC and of Hellenic now consider that they are in, it has been agreed that 10 June 2022 will the last date on which the right to convert the warrants may be exercised and that no further extensions of time are expected to be granted"
