Bit harsh to limit the dividend Caddy, I’ve been in here for nearly 4 years so by you’re suggestion I and many others of similar standing don't deserve any potential dividend?
Could solo play an ace and play ARA against a few more bigger boys.you never know.very quiet at the moment so surely something is happening.
Agreed Crusty one of the LNG partners would do fine, Equinor, Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon Mobil, Ophir Energy. They might need to run some gas through any LG trains for testing prior to offshore completions and pipework ;0)
I guess as long as any potential buyer has the proven cash for FFD, then the JV and TPDC will be on board.
I would also suggest that before they announce it and assuming the buyer wasn't either ARA or AEX they would need to get the sale approved by the JV partners and the TPDC beforehand.
Evening steve.
Yes any offer would require an EGM vote but alas I have no expectations of such numbers or at least maybe not till post C1 drill and then it's any ones guess.
Very interesting at last!!!! We need to see the formal conclusion of the AEZ/Zubair FO before solo can progress/conclude any deal and I hope if not at the same time then very soon after a spud date.
Offer or spud date first? I hope spud date and hope we are in the drill, it's a big one after all.
Evening Chris.
Maybe on completion of farm out they will announce an offer for their stake.
I assume any offer has to be put to shareholders.
About £100 million seems about right.
It will very interesting in the days ahead.
Looks like a few got mugged today, still as long as they are happy with their target then every ones happy.
Good luck for tomorrow, might see the FO completion and maybe more....
Hurting like many of us Giles. Just hope this goes up a little before I write the bod an email reminding them of the promised dividend and suggesting they only give dividends to the LTH who have stood by them for at least 5 years despite the numerous failures on their part. Then I'm off.
Thankyou bigpat. I'm not the only one hurting on here, and I'm pleased/lucky to say this is the only share I've lost big money on over the years. I did my research, thought I'd got it right, but clearly not - my bad. The current issue of more shares is just yet another dilution, so I've set my price and will walk away at some point having learnt a valuable lesson.
Soon see ref TR-1, as stonefold pointed out, they hung on to theirs at UJO, don't see why they would not do the same here and sell into any major upside such as the drill and or Ruvuma sale.
doesnt mean they will be sold off. or most likely they have been forward sold already and hence overhang should be minimal
Too many shares being issued here next week for my liking. Rightly, or wrongly I moved to Aminex..,,.so Solo should do well :)
Certainly tomorrow if it doesn't :-)
will it come tomorrow?
Code 1 on AEX hold on to your hats! :-)
Seems to be pretty stable atm.
"The proceeds from investment rounds will be used by the Company to fund the planned appraisal programme on its Ntorya gas field in Tanzania and for general working capital purposes, while the Company continues to progress the sales process of its interest in Tanzania."
"we can continue to fund our position of this exciting development if we do not receive offers that reflect our inherent value within our Tanzanian portfolio."
If the right offer isn't on the table funding the drill is still on the cards. Any offer will have to be much improved now that license has been granted.
AEX making a move :-)
Spot on. AEX and SOLO both back to flat after morning shake. Watch for the next move up. It should be sudden. GLA
of just a few days before FO sign off, MM's know this so they can do what they please! Expect some dramatic swings in either direction, culminating in a BIG shake just before the RNS drops. :-)
we have received final approval, so should just take several days to document and finalised it. as such I suspect we should get the good news early next week
now is not the time to sell
Hope for tomorrow for completion, it's not like they have not had 2.5 years to prepare ;0)
Maybe tomorrow or Monday. Seems that dust has to settle price wise before next leg up on stocks with momentum. Just my observation on aim over last ten yrs.could be wrong.
FO completion and spud date would be ideal for Malcys 5p
Where do you think SP will go then? Exactly. This is just fun and games before SP rockets again. Don't let them get your shares. GLA
