The LCCM investment case is compelling. If we had a CEO that was trusted and acted in the best interests of shareholders I'm convinced the share price would already be close to 1p in anticipation of the awarding of the PEPR this quarter (and production/cashflow in Q4!). I'm happy to wait until the PEPR is awarded and then we'll see the spike in the SP....
Pre-Tax NPV @ 8% around $50m. Which is nice.
lets hope for a nice steady rise to a boom from the PEPR, *fingers crossed*
Which is why I think we will see a large re-rate.
Lupidog, can you name another Copper small cap that has not seen its share price rise on the back of the recent rise in copper prices?
Perfect description Prop. There is little downside as we are sitting at an mcap below when we purchased LCCM. The upside is growing directly inline with the increase in copper price. Perfect Storm. 2p or not 2p that is the question.
Hence, it’s an asymmetric bet.
haha Fira, funny you should mention India. We travelled last February just before the pandemic took off and the outward flight was overbooked so we volunteered to take the next flight and in return we have 2 first class flights with Virgin to Las Vegas at the end of Feb next year!
Prop, what you do know is that IF the BoD secures the PEPR the share price re rates. If they don't and we have more 'excuses' the SP limps along at current levels imo. Good job a few of us invested here are making money in rmm, bzt and a few others whilst we await news.....
DV, I am thinking of pumping in another 10K - but knowing my luck, I will have after the horse has bolted!
Fira, I am no fan of any of the BoD (PW lost my respect when trying to use his charts & graphs to justify JP's obscene bonus) but I like to make money. I have set aside a further £20k to invest here closer to the expected award of the PEPR...
Fira, cobre income underpins the current SP imo so little risk to investment/trade at this level but the potential upside of the PEPR/LCCM production, especially with current copper prices is MASSIVE, easily 1p+. You pays your money....
Agreed Prop, short term it is all about the Copper!
In so far as bestowing any near-term realisable value, tin is about as relevant to us as telling the truth is to our wonderful government.
LCCM should be the BoD's only focus atm. Get the PEPR quickly followed by the start up finance and get production underway in Q4 as per the RNS timetable. Two stable income flows will then certainly set SML aside from other AIM companies and will see the 'market' valuation much higher than the current mcap of £8M
From a commodity markets perspective Tin is more than holdng its own. up another 2.4% up today. The conditions are incredibly ripe for Redmoor. What more incentive do the BoD need to deliver on their promises?
2p-plus on LC PEPR - as for Redmoor: maybe a winner around the time HS2 completes.
Prop, IF it happens along the lines envisaged by the BoD (RNS 31 March 21) then i can see 1p+ in pretty short order. With current mcap at £8M it looks like a very decent risk versus reward investment/trade imo...
Forget the spurious TWIS-hyped rise; the next one will be elevated and firmed up on a substantive foundation: the realisation of a second income-stream, from LC, towards the end of this year.
I'm assuming that a JV or alternative source of set up funding will be announced immediately after the PEPR to avoid any (unnecessary) delays to production & sales. Then the share price will really motor....
I would expect very significantly, as LCCM becomes a major realisable asset.
I think you could be right Lupidog, even our BoD can't fail to take advantage of the significant recent increase in copper prices, surely. Just put another £10k in here (not showing!) as PEPR must see the current mcap of £8M rise significantly...
At some stage in the not to distant future, there will be a decision on the draft PEPR submission. We are in the hands of the SA, Dept for Energy and Mining and they will follow due process without delay. I would have thought that given all documentation has been submitted (confirmed), we would start to see some interest given the NPV with copper sitting at $9,960. We are moving towards a substantial company turnaround if approved. Interesting times. Was it worth the wait and emotions? My money says yes.
