Dividend and continued buyback approved.
This has been a great share to hold the past 12 months, surprised there's not more activity here.
Aged well Bubba!
Price never moves but great dividend
I am based in the US and am always seeking value investments. I particularly like closely held companies where management owns a lot of shares. I am begining my research on this company and was wondering if anyone else had any ideas where I can learn more about the real estate portfolio. It seems to me that if book value is either accurate or below market value this company trades at a steep discount to its orderly liquidation value. I know it is family controlled but perhaps they are looking at ways to unlock value. Any thoughts from fellow value investors would be very welcome. Thanks.
It's weird I'm using self trade which is normally fine, after the LSE is closed the J Smart price goes up by 400% but as soon as the markets open back down to normal price, I can't work it out !!
I m using TD direct investment..... put my limit for sale (its in place), I dont understand why its not possible for you to put limit.
Can someone please tell me why I can't place a limit order on this share and only an instruction to my dealer ??
I have read the agenda in full now the sub-division took place on 21st dec at 8.00 am. We therefore bought shares after the due time. These shares have been pretty dull in the past so hopefully greater volume might improve that. On reflection not sure it was a great buy!! Should always do the research up front. R
Thanks.......... Thn it seems a bad mistake by me.
The proposal to increase share was announced in the general meeting 15th dec. I can find no subsequent announcement as to the outcome of the meeting. All quite odd.
Correct, there is no news regarding dilution over the internet............. but do you think is it possible for the company to issue more shares without any annoucment..... No RNS? very strange.....
I did the same as you. Unfortunately I don't think we will get the extra shares-the odd thing was no RNS yesterday or suspension. There is normally a fixed time after which the new shares are tradeable. I can't get a quote from my online broker at the moment. Lets hope we have struck lucky-but probably unlikely.
Can you tell me when did they issue new shares (50.4m from 10.8m) for dilution.......... was it yesterday or before yesterday... I bought some shares yesterday, what do you think, shall I get 5 extra share for each of it??? Thanks
Not sure this is strickly a dilution but will have the effect of putting more shares into the market place. Shareholders will get 5 shares for each one they held before. Hence the share value now of 70p is equivalent to 350p before'dilution'. There will now be 50m shares in the market place rather than 10m.
The General Meeting is for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, passing of the resolutions detailed within the Circular which relate to: a. the proposed adoption of the New Articles of Association in order to update the Company's constitution in line with the provisions of the Companies Act 2006; b. the proposed Sub-Division of the share capital of the Company pursuant to which, for each Ordinary Share held prior to the Sub-Division becoming effective, a Shareholder will receive 5 New Ordinary Shares of two pence each in the capital of the Company; and c. the proposed approval of the Buy Back Authority, which allows the Company to make limited market purchases of New Ordinary Shares. Would this be the reason for the sp drop today?
Down 255p ??????....Strewth Bruce... ...Its curtains chaps !
Property values down=large loss in accounts = possibly no divi.GL.
Not allowing me to buy shares in this
