Afritex is an investment holding company with strategic investments in African-based fishing operations that market seafood to a global base of customers. Through its subsidiary companies, Afritex operates our premium Longline Tuna and Swordfish Operations in Port Louis, Mauritius and Beira, Mozambique; our Trawler Operations in Maputo, Mozambique from which we yield our Lobster, Langoustine and Prawn lines and finally our substantial retail business in South Africa, sourcing seafood for some of Africa’s largest retailers. With initial focus on our own production, Afritex will launch a state of the art electronic Trading Platform under the umbrella of Afritex Bridge Fund in the second half of 2016, which will quickly be expanded to incorporate global seafood production and eventually an all-encompassing food trading solution. Africa has long been known as ‘the bread basket of the world’ and with 65% of the world remaining arable land left in the region, we believe our Trade division is strategically placed to bring the world to Africa and take Africa to the world. The primary focus of our Longline operations is on the export of premium quality fresh tuna and swordfish by airfreight, as well as processing and value adding of Tuna, Swordfish, Dorado and other associated by-catch into a value added range of retail ready products. The trawling operations based in the port of Maputo, Mozambique – Kalipesca – is an industrial deep sea fishing and processing company, established in 2008. Its primary fishing operations are centered on wild caught pink prawns, deep-sea lobster and langoustines.

If for any reason there's a sudden change by LSE then we'll jump straight across to general at that time, but looks like we'll be OK here now... In reply to Andrew Oliver David Lenigas @DavidLenigas Jan 4 @Optimist13 there are so many AfriAg Global trucks now and contracts I can't count them.
RE: The Sun Never Sets On Afriag PL..Thu 18:111 X Truck transporting $200000 worth of goods per year = £11282.13 average clear profit per truck per year. This is working on 7% Most USA trucking companies work on 6 to 8% so I have taken 7% as a calculating tool. This X 78 trucks pans out at £880006.14 average clear profit per year..... Some African transport companies make up to 18% but only average 65000 miles per year, it depends where one is based from what limited research is available......... The key point as Dave L has pointed out in the past is not to have dead miles [ no return loads ] Some South African trucks average 120000 miles per year.......
David Lenigas @DavidLenigas Dec 31 I hope all the people in the #UK enjoyed all the food @AfriAgPLC helped stock the UK supermarket's shelves with for Christmas. Crazy busy.
David Lenigas @DavidLenigas 16 Dec 2016 @richardphipps7 Mid January to see the growth of AAAP and AfriAg Global. Big growth.
