...................... LONDON (Alliance News) - Anglo African Agriculture PLC on Monday said a rise in revenue and a steady margin failed to prevent its pretax loss from swelling in the first half of the financial year as "significant legal and admission expenses" were booked related to publishing its prospectus. In July 2016, the then Non-Executive Chairman Neil Herbert looked set to pull the company from its London listing after launching a strategic review because "the business in itself is not really large enough to justify being a listed company". However, by September Herbert had been replaced by eminent AIM investor and director David Lenigas and the company raised further funds to grow its South African manufacturing and marketing business Dynamic Intertrade (Pty) Ltd - which remains at the heart of Anglo African Agriculture. As Herbet stepped down, Lenigas immediately acquired a substantial stake in the business on his appointment as he spoke of not only growing the business organically in South Africa, but also expanding into "the global marketplace". When Herbet was mulling delisting the company in July last year, the business had a market capitalisation of just GBP631,900. On Monday, shares were down 19% at 0.750 pence, but the company is still presently valued at around GBP2.0 million. The plunge in the share price came as Anglo African Agriculture said Monday that its pretax loss for the six months to the end of April widened to GBP285,659 from GBP130,438 the year. Although revenue rose to GBP1.1 million from GBP821,425 and the gross margin remained steady to produce a profit of GBP290,276 from GBP208,196 the year before, the company's administrative costs soared to GBP529,109 from GBP287,787. That led to a operating loss of GBP236,685 compared to the loss of GBP91,178 the year before. Of the lift reported in administrative costs, GBP68,100 was from "significant legal and admission expenses" related to the prospectus. "The past six months of solid growth have been punctuated by the issue of an updated company prospectus with the UKLA, the significant plant upgrades at our 100% owned Dynamic Intertrade (Pty) Ltd spices factory with the commissioning of new milling and packing equipment specifically designed to improve efficiency, reduce costs and dramatically increase production capacity to meet the company's increasing order book, the proposed sale of our share in APV - the guar processing business and the acquisition of 46.8% of Dynamic Intertrade Agri (Pty) Ltd," Lenigas summed up on Monday. The company said Dynamic Intertrade has had a "good start" to the year with sales starting well, but continuing to "fluctuate" as the business "strives to increase base stocks of all important raw ingredients." Still, sales are "significantly better" than the prior year, Lenigas said. Dynamic Intertrade managed to secure two

Ball park numbers canabbis 504 x dearer than oil weight for weight............ Numbers worked out on canabbis $100 per pound and a barrel of oil being $50 per barrel IMHO as always DYOR Oil weight 7.21 pounds per gallon, 34.9723 gallons per barrel = 252.15 pounds per barrel 252.15 pounds x $100 = £25215 Canabbis IMHO is cheaper than oil to put into production IMHO DYOR The cheapest clean cannabis trim that I can find is $125 per pound if one bought 268 pounds of it, this would cost $33500............. An AfriAG truck load of same type would pan out at $6889450.00 cost ball park, IMHO DYOR........ https://twitter.com/tryloud
