‘ How come Mat is selling ? Before leap ?’
He did say thats his business, and he is dead right-thats fair enough.
Can be any multiple of reasons, i know for me seed represented 30% of my portfolio as of last week, which is quite high for something so uncertain….but since 4d’s administration, now seed is over 35% of my portfolio - which brings risk management into consideration.
So just one example of how people may have to address risk.
FWIW, I’d say he is getting hitched:-)
I think he just needs the cash. There has probably been many in a similar situation. Keep hanging on and nothing happens time and time again. Even when they get Leap sorted it won’t be a decent return for those LTH’s. Those that have been in 6 years or more. Maybe just a small return for all those years. Buying in at this price and you should double your money with Leap. Hopefully
How come Mat is selling ? Before leap ?
JK28
I suspect ed is going to try to keep a leap ipo/sale on the long finger, to prevent the inevitable sell off.
I don’t think his genius plan will work, his boy crying wolf will just add to the lack of trust in him.
I’d say a lot of investors have decided to get out at year end but I think a good few will leave in the summer with mat as they might feel they could be left holding the baby.
After Leap most of the NAV will be visible anyway. So there won’t be any gambling on “hidden NAV” as there won’t be any. Don’t think this will ever trade near NAV again. The years of failures won’t go away anytime soon.
Exactly JK. The number of times they have failed and Doggo try’s the old “ we always knew it was crap anyway”. You can just hear him. Seed sell their share of Leap for £10m and he would still come out with the “ wow that’s a good return “. Lol. As he’s busy selling himself. Spends all his time researching but is yet to find anything out.
After leap running for the exit , we won’t get close to NAV . Wonder how many will actually be holding after leap . He is best doing some sort of dividends payment to stop people selling out altogether .
He bought plenty in his others.
Odd that though, I was sure I repeatedly heard him say he wants to buy big…Yada, yada, inside, yada bla bla.
Anyway, I’ve lost track of where the latest timeline is for LEAP, still this year?…..but does what he blabbers about hold any water. When you see some of the long term bulls/traders throw the towel in it would seem Eds ‘charm’ is wearing off.
I don’t think Ed will ever buy into this. Unless it’s one of those token £10k buys that the directors are given the cash to buy by the BOD and inserted into the profit and loss, you see so many of those on aim. Because of its shyte management and performance it’s given people an opportunity to get In reasonably cheap. I’ve made decent gains from POS’s like this, being able to get in cheap because nobody will touch it. Leap should double your money from here. A couple of half decent holdings and the rest is absolute crap.
If duplication is on your mind, how about 4d and seed.
(A) insider selling
(B) management missing deadlines
(C). Lack of institutional buyers
(D). Skin in the game….we know Ed won’t touch seed with a 100 foot barge pole but bizarrely enough that clown DP had £ seven figures in 4d.
My favourite O’Donnell posts are when you’ve forgotten which account you are logged into and you post a Longlad post into the OD account….
Doggo
The only thing sadder than that post, is the three people who liked it….apparently, the thing about common sense is that it isn’t too common.
Longlad when are you bringing back O’Donnell?
No Longlad it was Circassia I was thinking of.
Yes, 4d was a Neil Woodford stock, has had a massive fall.
But lets not mention numbers like £10 on the seed board (unless you are referring to our total remaining investment in yooma?)….in fact no point mentioning 16p either, seeming as 5p is looking like mission impossible.
Its not good for aim market liquidity to have a big favourite like 4d go down as it has…if shareholders could have got out with something then they’d have spread it about in other shares whereas now the opposite will happen, pi’s will retreat from risk.
Longlad. If I remember right. Didn’t 4D have a phase 3 trial which collapsed after the placebo showed better results. I’m sure we had the trial at our trust. I think it was an allergy trial. It was one of the craziest results. I think it was about the same time RED X was just about wiped out by defaulting on their rent and being sued by the council. We got wind of both. I managed to get out of RED X in time. Never held 4D. We do get quite a bit of info on pharma’s not only do we get results first we also have weekly reviews or their bank accounts which is used to maintain their credit worthy rating. Some we supply with single vials worth up to £5m. So we get wind of the small pharma’s needing a raise. Quite handy. Lol.
Longlad 4D has fallen from £10 to 16p
Please don’t compare the management of that shower of shyte to SEED.

That was a genuine question, probably easier to say….is leap priced in? I know it sounds nuts but the market knows what’s going on…or not!
I noticed an rns from mos.l yesterday saying they were launching virtual cricket games.
Have to laugh at 4d, there was a forthcoming agm - one of the resolutions to be voted on was wether to let the bod give themselves big pay rises…..now in administration…..just goes to show you how detached these high calibre management can be.
sorry to hear that Longlad, i just cant believe the timing of your question this morning :-(
Yes but youll unlikely get a real return till 2024.
As we wait, and wait for leap to get sorted. I’m sure many have earmarked their next investment…..but, does anyone have any examples of an unsuspended share that reacted positively to expected news?
