I know mate, i wasn't just referring to seed though. Markets have got aids again
I get what your saying mat and i agree the markets as a whole are having a big wobble.all i am saying is if Ed cannot buy any shares, then it would be nice to see alfredo buy some,as a confidence boost. we all know most share prices are confidence driven to a certain point.but i guess all we can do is sit and wait.
SeavIew I’m sure you can go to Thailand as couple of my mates are currently going in and out of there, I know things can change quick , I’m still waiting to go to Malaysia as there just changing stuff now but Malaysia are very slow, reminds me of something else lol
My 2 pennies
*global supply chains are definitely screwed, its hard now to get a firm quote
*how much of the energy o political over reach, eg scuffling the nordstream 2 pipeline, don’t bits the hand that heats you
*debt ceiling, kabuki theatre or is the political gridlock real this time?
*evergrande..oh boy, its not Lehman but there area lot of problems, one that is unquantifiable are the Wealth Management Products (WMPs). Analysts have said that China differs from America 2008 because China isn’t subprime….they fail to realise that whilst there are strict lending rules, these are bent massively, first you borrow the 30% down payment (at huge interest rates) then buy apartment A…wash and repeat over and over again…talk about a house of cards
*markets are massively overvalued, staying afloat with $120 billion a month split between treasuries and mortgage baked securities
*4th turning!
So come on Ed, you have commented in a recent interview that you Do Not see a substantial downturn in the markets, but evidently there are compelling facts that are weighing, so heat the pool, and bring a tray of ****tails or put on your trunks and join us.
Enjoy the Ryder Cup. If you've recently been working in the energy supply industry, it does feel a bit like total shutdown!! (It wasn't us who got it wrong, by the way, if I hear Ofgem saying one more time "we won't reward failure", when that is literally what they do every time they run their internal payroll....!)
I've been lucky and had a few very nice job offers, since, but I've just been for an interview at a C&C woodcutting company - driving past an empty petrol station - and the warehouses were piled up with completed glamping pods / shepherd's huts etc. that are waiting for haulage; also with raw stock, as the supply chain is so unreliably... and they can't meet demand because their new warehouse has been idle for two months because they can't get anyone to install the electric meters.
Is the Ryder Cup golf...?? Never thought it was a real thing.
Have a nice time Adam, I'll keep penning rubbish till you get back.
Miss you already
Indeed Mat. Bigger fish to fry. I'm still waiting to meet my grandson in Thailand who is 15 months old. Perspective.
Apparently there are 300,000 HGV drivers available but they are better off doing other work. Now the Gov want UK workers only. Wages and conditions. No wonder we are struggling.
No surprise really, tiny volumes traded. This will only move on news and currently there isnt any. The AGM was just kicking cans down the road. Last year, Ed talked about big liquidity events in Q1 which to me meant Leap (I assumed wrong), well there werent any "big" events and he did the same on Tue. Its clear Ed and Alfredo dont want to commit their own cash in SEED so why would anyone else, especially not a big investor, which is what we need.
Fatman, have a look out the window. The whole world is just about closing down. Government is threatening Gas and commodity shortages , there are blockages on the roads stopping essentials coming through. People have other priorities outside of CBD and Medical cannabis. its not really on the forefront of most peoples minds.
Its a buy and hold if you have excess funds and the means to part with them.
Be realistic.
Terrible share price performance, we are fast approaching the lows of march 2020 when the whole workd shut down. No wonder alfredo wont buy any
