in largely untroubled waters. Made up for a recent small drop and some.
Barclays stockbrokers show c 7 p/e next year (pls dyor/check there and elsewhere) ...plus logp stake (may be overvalued rel to pvr but still decent £5-10m there fingers crossed) ...wow...wot not to like?? ...expect I will buy strongly into any further rally ...Jolly breathless ..aaoo/dyor/gla
Looking good. Also they state they'll sell the Lansdowne shares one day and return money to shareholders.
Sea Energy - use it Sea Food - eat it CPU - Abuse it Daft ain't it, but it might make you chuckle as this share retraces to where it used to be.
Good to see the sp moving up a little, even though the market is well down today. SEA has to be the best value on AIM (along with Agriterra !!)
morning, didnt get up til 7.45.lol..yeah,lets sea.....
Who is dumping these shares - today some biggish round-numbered quick-fire dumping plus 150,000 late afternoon. Has this been going on sporadically for a while. Surely must be ii dumping. Anyone any info. Thought the Barryroe PVR LOGP update where SEA hold 21% of LOGP who have 20% of Barryroe - therefore SEA have around 4% interest indirectly in Barryroe - might have helped revival. No bad news as far as I can see in the last months except LOGP share value going down. Where do Shell fit in? Do they need our boats?
Back on board! Not been in since the Tender Offer last year but like the look of this rebounding from here. A Special Divi would be nice too.
In early Feb SEA issued a very positive statement concerning revenue grown for both R-2-S and the consultancy business. The share price then was over 29 p. Today it stands at 21p. So what has changed ? Well SEA holding in Landsdown is probably down £3m, but apart from that ??? Clearly the focus is on R-2-S at present, but SEA is not a one trick pony and there is money for further acquistions down the line. The energy services sector be being touted as having huge potential, but SEA remains neglected. Perhaps I should stop worrying and start buying !
...but have we bottomed?..if they can build profitable business around R-t-S, this is cheap..big IF lol ..aaoo/dyor/gl
logp rising strongly...and R-t-S performing well (it seems)
with logp on the rise ...and with R-t-S prospering (it seems)
They should have sold when there was hype around logp not when no one wants the risk. Been in so long i will just hold till it doubles which from here it will do. Have long term faith potential dividend in a few years
14 May 2013 Sale of SeaEnergy Renewables Limited On 29 June 2012, the Company announced that, pursuant to the Sale and Purchase Agreement ("SPA") dated 4 June 2011 between the Company and Repsol Nuevas Energias S.A. ("Repsol"), Repsol had intimated a warranty claim amounting to £849,000, and that Repsol had withheld that amount from the retention payment due to the Company on 28 June 2012 until the claim was resolved. The Company has today received payment in full of the withheld amount plus interest and no further claims remain outstanding or notified against either party. All amounts due to the Company under the SPA have now been received.
...so y shd SEA not follow?
nope
23-25p has been decent floor for a year or so opinion only
Outlook The Company is making excellent progress in delivering the strategy we set out a year ago, and plans to approach break-even in 2013, before moving into trading profit in 2014. This will be achieved by driving the continued growth of R2S and the consulting business, proving our marine capabilities, making additional acquisitions and, where appropriate, the sale of legacy oil & gas assets.
This has more value hidden if compared to logp?
LOGP on 1 & 3 month...so may have play catchdown?
has fallen c10% in last few weeks...
As normal with AIM shares I'm down already!
