Yes, of course, many factors affect footfall. I hasten to add that i have visited stores in Centres, and on the high street, up to Scotland and down to London and in-between. When I say there is little footfall activity in the stores..I, obviously, mean in relation to the prevailing conditions and vis a vis the neighbouring retailers under the exact same weather, time of day, location factors.
I will say that in very recent visits, I have seen an increase in the number of gents (dads) trying on a jacket or two (which are of great quality for the price). Although I would expect nothing less at the time of year.
It doesn't give any information about online vs bricks and mortar comparisons....but you can take a certain perspective as to the desirability of the product if the stores are quiet, obviously.
On a separate point,I remain confused by their marketing. I think they are, too.
And remember Xmas is coming!
The key will be the proportion and volume of sales now online. Stores won't give any clue to that at the moment given covid.
Depends what day and time you called in. also weather....many factors effect footfall. And this is a global brand with increasingly online. Taking a small snapshot may not always give the bigger picture.
I'd be cautious too. I have travelled the length of this country, and visited over two dozen stores. I just don't see the foot traffic, at any time of day. Its not an exhaustive study, I grant you, but I can only say what I see.
Hard to read into it to be honest (what happened with the CFO).
What I would say however is that any comments about what happened with the CFO are purely speculative and educated guesses , whereas I would say there is a 95% certainty hat the CO and other directors would be unlikely to be throwing hundreds of thousands of pounds into a sinking ship that was about to release a really nasty set of results.
I be cautious around trading statement updates and breathe a sigh of relief when they’re over.
I’m suspicious as to why did the chief financial officer leave.
That’s not to say the share may rise, who knows.
lets hope so, the way JD has been buying shares recently lets hope for a good trading statement next week. Could be a a very profitable week's trading in this stock.
I've just bought in for my Share Club (based in Cheltenham) at 169p.
I don't see covid affecting retail sales as the big issue - its design lead! i.e. It will sell online if its good enough, and SuperDry stuff looks great. People want it.
Good move CHughes. Similar to mine. I have the target at 1.95 this time. These waves should help cover plenty of expenses over time! I missed 1 of them but got 2 right. Fingers crosses.

I got back in at 163.77 and increased my holding by almost 20%, my original av was 1.66. happy days. I think this could be a repeat >30p rise and fall opportunity.
Makes up for my rolls royce faux pais
Well that is me in at 165.

The buy button will be tempting at anything under 170 and definitely 165
Hi Chughes
Thanks for getting back to me. I have the low 160s in mind. That being said although not showing on the drops the intraday price has been lower on each of these, same as the peaks.
So if watching on the right day could catch 155.
Here is hoping.

I am not sure this will bottom out at <160
I didn't sell the last time they peaked, so thought this time I'm going to do it. I am hoping to buy back in around late 150's but the trend seems to intimate the peaks and troughs are increasing so I guess if pushed 160's or 170's to increase my numbers. Who knows what will happen today at 8am. I may be kicking myself not getting back in at 180.
Hi Chughes
You did well with that move. Can I ask what you have in mind as your buy back target price.

I sold mine at £1.915 and watching to buy them back at the next ebb.
I believe this time is different... I’ve just tripled my holding.
Would love for it to break out but if we look at the 6month chart this is a repeat pattern. Overall is an uptrend but for anyone wanting to ride the highs and lows now would be a chance to sell and buy back in the 1.50- 1.55 range.
Lon:sdry google. Select 6 months and you will see what I am talking about. Not gospel!
All in my opinion.

Looking good here, finally moving. Several director buys surely a sign.
Kind Regards
Zach
I would imagine that with the covid problem this company and the way it has been modelled could be very attractive to a large retailer. Maybe Julian is thinking the same?
Thought you may have got a trading update with the AGM results??
RNS dated October 7th says 19.5%. Probably creeping up to 20% with the last few purchases..
zstarz someone said last week that he had approximately 20%, if you look at last week's posts on here, it shouldn't be hard to find GLA
