Hello Farris,
My mum suffers skin problems but also has high calcium levels so she has to be careful what she takes. Can you tell me how much calcium is contained within the product?
Thanks
No sooner posted than back down to evens, still, good to see an investment co upping their holdings.
Tyndall appears to have tried some on the Sp, it's looking better already.
Hello Farris, many thanks...about 5 -10 years difference then so not much. also stacks up as a really big change..indeed worth buying the product for in those peoples viewpoints.
Hi belgrano, my better half is 55,she doesn’t suffer from psoriasis ,bought the axisbiotix for general skin health, and she is very impressed, my son has just started, will let you know how that goes.
belgrano, noting the the early hours of the morning timing of your post, a good night's sleep will also do wonders for any worry lines and it's free :)
Just going a step further with this one...and I don't know the answer but its an common-sense idea, does our skin start to slightly overproduce when we get older, or gut bacterial balance declines, so taking axis restores that balance making facial lines disappear by settling down skin reproduction growth. Natural way to in effect look younger, which many pay very dearly for.
As an aside good to see the RNS...Tyndall snapping up all the cheap stock, bet those who flogged expecting some further drop in price might have lucked out. Know hey often take a 10% stake...still more to go.
Hi Farris,
Great to see that your other half is also getting similar results. Always a bit tricky when you post something that although factual is a bit off the wall as to what's been expected or known so to speak. I've been pondering half the night as to what could be the reasons behind this, and possibly why its not been reported in the study already.
Can I ask you Farris roughly whay age your other half is....Just that I'm thinking the majority in the study didn't fall into this same age bracket, so might not have even had much in the way of "facial lines" to disappear. Also its got to be said and I'm not being biased here, that the fairer sex tend to notice and care more about these things than us gents. So that could indeed have ruled out a lot more study candidates as well...Also attention was on psoriasis and not face lines disappearing and in effect "looking younger" . So I doubt it would be reported.
So so we now have the similar effects in a couple of ladies, and didn't start to see improvement until three or so weeks into treatment. Almost as if the bodies natural skin replacement cycle is settling down, and tightens up making the lines disappear. I'm thinking that we associate psoriasis with skin sores and redness caused by multiple skin layers overlapping and letting infection in, however stands to reason we would have many mild cases, where there is a smaller amount of overproduction of skin cells, and when this calms down it tightens the skin making these lines disappear.
Belgrano,
Just read your post today 9.16, my other half only mentioned the other day how lines on her face have disappeared, she’s been on axisbiotix for just over a month now, skin has never been better.
You are right Chris, it does not explain it. Its' one of the reasons I posted it here and sent off a line to Stuart as well. Person I was discussing is a really fit active lady, and healthcare professional so I trust her word implicitly.
However we did find some other positive side effects when the original study was on, although "sample size" was probably too small to get conclusive results. I expect we were not looking at those areas, however know we were getting other reports like "dandruffs cleared up", and "arthritic pain has gone".
Those are same 4 probiotics on the Axisbiotix packaging from the study and the subscription boxes. I’m assuming they found the 6 but decided to use the best 4.
BTW I’m still healing at the worst area(scalp) after 10 months of sachets, though it’s almost clear after 40 years of chronic affliction (maybe that’s why it’s taken so long) and am using medications only there. Other areas like my arms, ears, fingers etc have cleared completely so I haven’t needed to apply any topical medications there for months. .This has saved me a small fortune already for what were my usual prescriptions plus extra over the counter stuff. I’m definitely a lifelong subscriber and I view the Axisbiotix as “excellent value” for the returns.
There are 6 carrier ingredients there.
AS,
That's what I would conclude also. I've fired an e-mail off to the company anyway. That still doesn't explain the 'antiaging' result that belgrano posted about. Very strange.......and intriguing!
Then I would go with the FAQ page as it is more recent Chris, suggesting the recipe was changed since the May 20 presentation.
Thanks AS,
Yes, he definitely says 6 in the interview. But the ingredients on their FAQ page says this: (https://axisbiotix.com/pages/faqs)
Ingredients:
Maize Starch, Maltodextrin, AxisBiotix-Ps Complex, Potassium Chloride, Hydrolysed Rice Protein, Magnesium Sulphate, Manganese Sulphate.
The AxisBiotix-Ps Complex:
Bifidobacterium animals
Levilactobacillus brevis
Limosilactobacillus reuteri
Lactococcus lactis cremoris

AS,
You wrote, "Axisbiotix is a blend of 6 live bacteria ". Do you have a link to where it says that it is 6 bacteria. My understanding is that it's 4 bacteria as per this article. https://www.cosmeticsdesign-europe.com/Article/2021/11/12/Probiotic-supplements-in-beauty-targeting-psoriasis-acne-and-oral-health-with-research-and-innovation
Hi Aquea S, I fully agree , however it’s certainly happening for this lady aged about 60. Could be no one looked for it or checked, I mean if I had psoriasis last thing I’d look for is any signs of skin improvement on non effected areas, or many people of different age groups might not care, but for certain ages looking a good few years younger is clearly marketable, and in this case it’s proven.
belgrano, skinbiotix is a lysate of the Lactobacillus Rhamnoses bacterium, Axisbiotix is a blend of 6 live bacteria so unless one is Lactobacillus Rhamnoses there will be no similarity. What I would say is that Lactobacillus Rhamnoses is available as a live probiotic in oral form but I am not aware of any anti-ageing claims for it taken this way
I don’t know if there are similarities between the axis product and the lysate, clearly one is topical and the other oral. Also one is live bacteria, sent an enquiry to SA but no reply yet. However these are certainly unexpected and great changes.
Just wanted to update you just on one good friends wife who has been taking our product since the launch. She initially just bought one months supply with the free months worth as she did have a small patch of dry skin which she hoped would clear up. It did indeed start to clear up but she wasn’t really sure whether it was just skins natural recycle growth replenishment or the treatment that caused the improvement. However she did say she didn’t think it was worth the cost of buying more product for such a small patch of dry skin. Well this lady is a shrewd retired district nurse who certainly knows her medical facts. Just a few days ago her husband told me that she believed that fine “age lines”, on her face were disappearing, but was not initially convinced. However they have continued to improve dramatically and she’s absolutely sure that her skin is improving, and also says that her nails are also looking the best for years. As a result he now tells me she’s so impressed that she’s just signed up as a regular subscriber for the next two months. This is a factual report
My opinion is that the next RNS on Croda will just talk about scale up only, rather than the VIP clients. I’d imagine there will be NDA’s in place to prevent that information being released. Am I right in thinking we have already been told we are on for revenue in 2022? I’d have a wager on us having to find out for ourselves what products the lysate is in, much the same way the guys on the Itaconix board do. The detectives on there find that their company’s IP is used in all sorts of places after it’s already happened!
Doc, essentially announcement that final scale-up of the clinically proven to work anti-ageing ingredient (a lysate called skinbiotix) has been achieved by Croda and which end customers (up to 12 of the magnitude of someone like L'oriel) have been invited to have first to market advantage by incorporating the ingredient into their current or new products
