first filter on sml board...took some time lol
You're right about sticking with what works for you. I did the trailing stop loss thing and it was quite good until the mm's did some fishing and took me out! Maybe something I'd try again in the future but make a mental note of the price I should be selling at and do it manually.
how long you have been trading ???
what is a trailing stop loss ???
no not really...if you go for fundamentals, then best look at the net assets and liabilities/vs market cap, if chart, then reversing trend, or continuing trend up, and simply buy the support...that is usually a day with very little volume, oddly enough...i have never studied any charting simply because i dont need it..so all those triangulations and fibonaccy this and elliots there, usually dont tell nothing on aim imo.. but if you got a strategy and it works best stick to it,... i studied charting or trading, by looking at the charts..especially the ones that are traded often...sentiment matters as well imo
Still going through stockcharts.com and the tutorials on there. There is fricking loads to learn!
Same nwcs, it's plenty good enough for me. Been looking at British bulls last few days hoping some of the trends sink in eventually. Chukkers, is that method of yours the reverse of a trailing stop loss?
Yeap, end of day.
Do you use realtime pro ntwc?
Resist at 209 which is the fib 50%..... Is Bonker even on S bb? Bonker, if you're watching can you validate this one?
I know mate, didn't realise until this one that they can actually have a positive effect.
I see it's back above the support line and resistance isn't until 209. I'll keep my eye on it cheers but too much of a gamble for me just yet. I think you're been a bit modest about your chart reading skills ;)
Thank you Chris!
Nope, just checking out opinions IMO ;)
nwcs. i agree short term you might be able to trade it nicely as your image clearly indicates, but i would still not buy it
Just realised, does this make me a ramper? I'm not even in. Just checking my thought process with fellow TA people.
And just be clear, I never said this was a bagger, just IMHO, a potential modest gain...
Happy to be challenged, I need the feedback but this is what I saw on the chart... http://imgur.com/a/1Vf4R
nwcs, i follow the logic that stocks that drop continue to do so..with few exceptions of course.. but once it breaks out and the next high is higher then the last one, i will buy on the support...
Hi trill, doing better now I've met these nutters (opinions vary but still nutters!) I've not bought yet, keeping my eye on it. Only started TA recently and checking lots and lots of shares. Missed a few good ones already but wasn't confident in what I was doing. Bonkers has helped me out but that guy is just Jedi level. Still going back through some original replies and seeing if it makes more sense now.... I reckon about another 10 years and I might get it.
I'll take a look cheers. Back in a mo.
ast had a placing as well ????
Only new to this game so take anything I say with a pinch of salt. ADX = both lines crossing which suggest change in trend. RSI = 30 below and it's oversold (1 to 100). Currently at 34 CCI = Positive Next support line is 129. Current support line is 169. SP = 168 It needs to make it's mind up... but wtfdik
My sleep pattern's screwed at the mo NWCS but waking up for early RNS's is programmed into my body clock now. How's you and your shares doing bud, see you fancy ITV. I remember them blaming brexit nerves for a recent downturn.
very good video lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4ngL3wUptY
