could be a number things , its too vague at the moment to glean any meaningful direction from 11.1.... Its just another ball ache episode at the moment...another waiting game in a 7 year game of waiting.
It was announced recently they were looking to make an announcement under ASX rule 11.1
It was announced recently they were looking to make an announcement under ASX rule 11.1
me neither- maybe the self announced suspension was a ruse to buy more time and avoid a huge sell off. Either way, this share is a major ball ache !!
Not a clue, but that's not unusual for me!
Know what's going on
.....That theory out the window then !
...............that theory out the window then !
Possible though:
https://www.energynewsbulletin.net/development/news/1398143/sacgasco-to-get-cracking-on-drilling
From late october 2020:
Sacgasco to get cracking on drilling
SACGASCO has begun construction of the drill pad for its California gas well Borba 1-7 with drilling expected before the end of the year, where it says there is significant interest from potential partners to participate in and fund the drilling.
That would be very interesting, but do SGC/XST qualify as "acquisitions", as they are already listed companies- albeit on ASX ? Can they be AIM acquisition status under cash shell Rules despite that ?
Yes I can't help but wonder if there is som kind merger going on? How crazy would that be either SGC or XST get RMPs cash and London lsiting and RMP get % of Borba.
Perhaps with a rights issue as well.
It seems to me RMP does well not issuing to many shares at low prices using timing and London exposure well. Whilst SGC/XST have issued shares like confeity!
But they have the assets.
RMP doesn't have a business and has failed in all the projects it has previously tried.

thnx

HI Candi...."within 5 working days or earlier.".....I can't see that ? Is where is info for that please cheers
Over on ASX the update says an announcement a out the acquisition will be within 5 working days or earlier.
Interesting to note that XST & SGC both went into a halt on ASX too overnight pending news on an acquisition and a material transaction. I know these two have been linked with RMP before (related to Borba), it could be a coincidence, but as RMP, XST and SGC all in a halt at the same time means there is a good chance there is something related here..
"As the Potential Acquisition would, should it proceed, amount to, inter alia , a Reverse Takeover under the AIM Rules for Companies ("AIM Rules") due to its size and nature, the Directors have requested and been granted a trading halt in the Company's ordinary shares on ASX, and requested a suspension in trading on AIM, in accordance with the policies and rules of the two exchanges, pending the above mentioned announcement and thereafter the Company's satisfaction of all of the requirements of ASX and AIM (including, inter alia , the publication of an AIM Admission Document and shareholder approval)."
I suspect you'll get lucky as Bandy has pulled rabbits out of his hat previously, but there is no guarantee of this coming to fruition and you could lose the lot. Safer to watch from the sidelines i'd say!
Red Emperor (ASX/AIM: RMP) announces that it has requested suspension of trading of its ordinary shares on AIM and been granted a trading halt on the ASX in accordance with ASX listing rule 17.1 pending the release of an announcement in relation to a potential acquisition (the "Potential Acquisition").
RNS issued, Suspension announced
So is all lost here or does it depend what is pulled out of the bag in six months time?? I've seen MTL turn things around and back into profit from a similar but different scenario comments please
so are we expecting another update before the 25th? or are we now into Limbo from 25th despite this latest RNS ?
yes as a long term holder who watched the price fall lets hope we can regain our loses and maybe even into profit
It will be interesting to see if it goes ahead and who is involved.
The majority were hoping for purchasing distressed assets so it will be interesting to see the impact it will have on the SP, if it relists.

Morning Officer,
It will be interesting to see what the "potential" acquisition is and I look forward to see what will happen to my remaining stakes.
TITM
well that is indeed a timely update, I was prepared for a long wait here, should be an interesting day of trading tomorrow. I’m assuming the AIM listing will continue trading tomorrow.
