teslo
That was the nicest trolling I’ve ever been subjected to. Nothing better than a bit of fun to break the day.
But please note that I did post today before the market opened saying what I thought would likely happen today, and it pretty much played out that way.
Both scenarios occurred, highlighting as @Oli just said what a roller-coaster this share is.
Did anyone else on here post about the new variant of the Covid virus before it was reported in the news? or was that just me also?
I only post when I am trading or am invested, so unless we have a repeat of today I will not be back anytime soon.
lol... so true oli
@Onelonger I'm just trolling you to be honest to see how many people like your replies.
Take care.
Remember boys and girls, the Royal Mail rollercoaster will be open again tomorrow morning.
"Where The Magic Never Ends!"
I bow down to your superior intellect.
Well done to all who sold out in the spike this morning and all others who held their nerve and are almost back to where we started today....I’m expecting another small rise tomorrow now the living daylights got shook out of the tree most of the day...!
If everyone was as smart as each other then efficient market hypothesis theory would be in play and no one would be able to beat the market or obtain a return on investment.
The key is doing your own research and realizing that there are no short-cuts and putting in the time and effort to learn, not to memorize but to understand.
If only all of us were smart enough to sell at the high and buy at the low.
FTSE 100 here we come , nice
Teslo would love an hour with you to understand all that stuff. Looks like a good way of making money.
Those selling between 8-8.15 were smart and not fearful, but I agree that the market makers went stop hunting in the run up to the low of the day, hence why placing stops has pluses and minuses. A stop @5.31 and you have been stopped out around 8.20am allowing you to buy back at 10am, whereas a stop @5.00 and that person would be pretty ****ed off right now.
It's typical of the algorithm manipulation by market makers and institutions which is everywhere in the markets these days.
They would call it "predictive algorithms" instead of manipulation.
....and blue
well that's me baffled, mm tree shake is a possibility i guess, but blatant manipulation if that is the case.
Another tree shake to pick off the fearful today.
Volumes have decreased massively since the shops 're opened and we could mix with family etc. Take some profit is my advice, get back in around £4 and enjoy a good divi return. Fingers crossed that the new parcel hubs bring massive efficiency savings. (I deliver only parcels for my depot and my workload is appx half what is was during lockdown). This will show in the next lot of figures, the excitement is over for now.
don't know about that, but the recovery so far has surprised me
Could this possibly turn positive by the end of today?
This the 6th time in recent weeks that the price has bounced of the @495 level only once for a few day's did it breach those levels.
Since April the price has been consolidating within a range and that is normally a sign that the next big move is pending.
There is a lot of stability at the @495 level.
yup, and now about 5% down, again a joke, no stability
Unfortunately, it is what it is, Institutional investors are what move markets not private investors on a share board.
I think you just need not be stupid and / or greedy and potentially make good use of a stop loss when the opportunity arises simply to protect and lock in profits.
Institutional investors and brokers were executing buy orders @540 on open and sell orders @510 15 minutes later, why would they be concerned with a dividend of 20p when they can make more in 15 minutes on the spread?
If record breaking results cannot lift and hold the price beyond @5.40 you really have to ask yourself what does the market require for this scenario to happen and can RMG deliver it in Q1-Q4 2021 and beyond.
With the share price heading towards 5.00 the market was expecting a lot more than what RMG actually delivered today and as bizarre as that sounds considering RMG delivered record breaking results that is the reality of the situation.
You just need brass balls, and these shares will do well IMO
It's just institutional investors doing what they do best.
Just normal for rmg.??????
