http://www.gorkana.com/2017/07/newgate-wins-atalaya-mining-financial-brief/ 'Atalaya Mining, a European mining and development company, has instructed Newgate Communications to provide financial and investor communications. Atalaya’s major asset is the Riotinto copper mine in Huelva province, Spain. The brief includes regular financial communications as well as enhancing the UK Capital Markets profile of Atalaya, which is listed on London’s AIM market as well as Canada’s TSX. Charlie Chichester, senior partner at Newgate, is leading the team, assisted by consultants James Ash and James Browne.' From my research I though they had been acting on behalf of this firm for last month or so. Maybe news story has been slow to reach the market or the brief has been expanded? Interesting news anyway.
180m IPO for Residential Secure Income PLC. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/other/13287136.html Looks like Newgate are PR advisors here.
80% down is not good. I think Porta will recover but they need a few things to settle into place. Including a reduction on these 13% loan rates. I don't expect any miracles soon. That being said I expect share to remain around 4p or higher once the current seller is done.
thanks GoTrader. i'm about 80% down, so i need a miracle - Have Porta got any of those? LOL I bought in about 2012 with good prospects and track record of DW - i'm not sure i'll be doing that again, but lesson has been learned!
http://www.gorkana.com/2017/07/redleaf-hires-laura-westmacott-as-associate-director/ Third hire in a few weeks. Either to replace people or the business is doing really well? 'Redleaf Communications has strengthened its property team with the appointment of luxury, Middle East and broadcast expert Laura Westmacott as associate director. She will focus on the agency’s luxury residential developer clients, helping them to reach high-net-worth individuals around the world.' The RNS from Hawk Holding merely shows they still hold all their stock. None of the numbers seem to of changed. Someone is snapping up the sold stock here. Not sure who. Likely funds given previous events last year.
The company has had some set backs and has been pain stakingly devaluing assets and issuing shares to cover it's financial responsibility. It's been hard to fully understand the real day to day operational profit/loss due to these one off write downs. It would seem it's overseas operations are doing well. Same for Redleaf and Publicasity. Unclear how the other parts of the groups are doing. Porta could really use a decent cash injection to pay off debts here. However all the major shareholders above 3% apart from Fidelity have been snapping up sold stock here in the last 12-14 months. Plus revenue has been increasing even though losses have grown. They have made a lot of senior hires too that came with many clients. Apparently first 5 months of 2017 is ahead of expectations. Smoke and mirror really. I have no plans to sell any time soon. I think if they can sort out the key issues this share should rise if the business is doing well.
....to what to expect from this company? this share has consistently lost value for me over the last 5 years.... does anyone see any developments that might help bring some positives to the share price?
https://twitter.com/portacomms Looks like they may have a new client? 'So excited to see this and to have @InLinkUK as a @NewgateComms client. Thrilled to work with the team in bringing InLinks to the UK.' Seems to be a BT project. 60 second interview with new Redleaf Director Guy Smith. http://www.gorkana.com/2017/06/60-seconds-with-redleaf-communications-guy-smith/ Oneview group has raised 3.9m. Looks like Newgate Comms were involved. So were Hawk Investment Holdings Limited. http://www.investegate.co.uk/article.aspx?id=201706280700053562J They have also removed 3 staff from their Newgate employee page. Offset by Redleaf and Publicasity hires. Smoke and mirror really. Could be natural turnover of staff.
26/06/2017 15:50 614,230 3.254 26/06/2017 15:50 615,443 3.25 Reverse trades or both sells? As share gets closer to 3p volumes like this will start to kick in more. See what happens in next few weeks.
http://www.gorkana.com/2017/06/redleaf-hires-new-capital-markets-director/ 'Redleaf Communications has hired Robin Tozer, Thomas Cook’s former head of group corporate communications and an ex-senior corporate communications manager at Sky, as a director in its capital markets team. Tozer has 16 years’ experience in financial and corporate comms and has worked in-house at Prudential and Barclays and at agencies including Brunswick and Bell Pottinger. He also has experience handling M&A transactions and crisis comms projects.'
http://www.gorkana.com/2017/06/redleaf-communications-hires-former-bbc-correspondent/ 'Redleaf Communications has hired former BBC correspondent Guy Smith as an associate director of its corporate team. ' Looks a decent hire. 20 years of experience. SP is drifting here. Very few trades but someone in background still looking to sell.
A move in the right direction Hope they didn't pay too much in legal fees to set up the facility
RNS. New loan facility now in place. 135 base points means 1.35% cheaper than previous loan. Now they just need to get BM's loan down to 4-5% too.
Need to wait for share issue. Yeah I see no reason why Bob would charge more than a bank. Then again he has charged 12% for quite a while now. See what happens. Share is up on zero volume. So it will lose most of these gains?
The loan that todays is replacing I think is found under payables in the AR as 'income received in advance'. They say that once the £3m equity is raised then the Morton loans interest will be reduced substantially. Don't really see why they should be any more than today's loan.
No. loan facility that appears to be for 2-3m.
I am unable to attend now. Something has come up. Directors are locked out with share issue and debt negotiation. You would get no real answer. It is encouraging that banks are willing to lend to porta at circa 4%.
Does this mean we are rid of that punitive loan to the Morton family?
When does Stefan and other new board members intend to become shareholders? We would all like (indeed expect) this commitment in return for the salaries they take.
Does anyone have any questions for the AGM?? I will try to ask them as Paul is no longer here.
Go Trader yes it always seems strange when sells and buys fall outside the spread recommendations. This share could easily be 4.00-4.50 given that buys are at 4.25 I spoke to my friend today who seems to be getting carried away with Bitcoin at present. It wasnt him on Friday but he will probably buy a few more. He is very optimistic as previously mentioned
Lot of sells appearing as buys here. I suspect all the 4.07 trades and below are sells. so the 3000 or so trade at 4p appears to be a broker looking to sell stock.
Well maybe best to pause for now. See what seller in background does here. I was amazed how quickly they shifted the price up here after 450k of buys. 6.25p in 3 months would be amazing. See what happens. See if you can find out if it was him. Are you or him planning on going to the AGM?
Not me this time GoTrader. It maybe my friend who bought in at 3.62 earlier in the week. He thought that this share had bottomed out when he read the annual statement. His intention is to sell at 6.25 in around 3 months. I would just like to share his confidence!!!!
If Val62 has bought he has shifted the market nearly 1p here. My guess is 1-2 PI and maybe funds in background. Apparently share was up 30% at one point today. I suspect mainly due to tight supply of stock. So when good news does come here share could rise very quickly. No one posted here at all on such a big rise? Slow forum or every one on holiday.
