“Could it be the looming tax year…”
I suspect that it’s also that the end of the tax year has coincided with Easter. Half the City is on holiday, so trading volumes are down and people are selling into a thin market.
Inflation down to 2.4 % :-)
Jcb208 this is trading at about 42%
Doubled my holding, looks like the bottom for today anyway. As soon as interest rates fall this will go back over 1400
LOL I dont think so not yet anyway
I have altered my buy order to 1230.😂😂😂
Well I have to start all over again with the sale for my SIPP as I bought in at £12.61. I have a year to move the money over so I’m not too fussed.
Well i did
£12.57 today as I was tempted to buy with the money I sold for my pension
Looking for 1270 in the next couple of days
Could it be the looming tax year end and people selling to move money over ax there is a four day window from sales to the bank then to another account??
Yes I had a look at that but not that bad
Just bought in this morning at 1305…. Dropped to 1290 not long after! Couldn’t write it!
Perhaps this news today?
Average UK house price fell by 0.2% month on month in March, says Nationwide

Housing estate 'fleeceholds' the next great scandal, Tory peer warns
"A Conservative peer - and ex-adviser to Boris Johnson - has warned "fleeceholds" will be "the next great scandal" to hit the housing market.
The term is used to describe the plight of homeowners on new-build estates locked into private maintenance contracts for communal areas."

Persimmon has been changing the way they build the plots for years and it started after the financial crash, if a large five/six bedroom house was due to go onto a plot they swap it over for three smaller three bedroom three storey house. The smaller houses will sell where as the larger ones may just sit there so no point buildig houses that aren't selling.
Planners are at last taking house builders to task, it's about time. Where I live in the South West PSN have just finished a large development & want to start another close by & in the same planning / council area with 1400 homes. On the first development they promised all sorts, Dr's surgery, playgrounds, road improvements, cycle paths etc etc but when the building was completed they reneged on everything saying they didn't have the money. This is a very common tactic & one that pi**es everyone off including the people who brought the shoe boxes. They also change the plans to their advantage after permission has been granted so they can build more profitable homes at the expense of social housing etc. It is now proposed that the development of 1400 homes which has outlining permission is now going to be changed to 1800 so they can fit in smaller little houses, it's no wonder the locals are objecting.
