It's a sad day when a 0.1p rise can be considered "motoring". Still, mustn't grumble, at least the price is going up....
Motoring now!!!
Give it time , we are sill churning stock. This is a 4p share this year but i'm going to hold LT .
Showing as a buy on my platform , some steady buying all morning and not even a tiny rise either .
HHmm that could be a sell...sure it is to be honest
showing now..
£41K buy
Where cant see that
£46K buy .
President published the breakeven prices per barrel earlier this year. From memory Argentina was $20-something, but Louisiana was a bit higher at $30.
So buys out weigh the sells and stagnate, good old AiM
Not sure what break even is in Louisiana for PE but isn't it around $21 per barrel on average for them?
Louisiana light up 2.7% at $36.20/bbl as of 26 May 2020. Would like to see PL increase interest in Louisiana oil fields as it would lower over all risk in President, and reflect greater interest in the stock market. Do not know what the break even price per barrel is for PPC. Another Louisiana oil stock I have the break even price is 20 dollars.
Why isn't my buy showing up on here?
At least we know the twitter account they have works !
Rigging up in puesto flores field
Looks undervalued to the extreme.going for a decent wedge in ppc early doors.
I also believe gas has been pumping for a few months now - all helps.
Atb,
Northern
Effectively president had 3 points of attack on the SP over the last 12 months.
The political mess
Covid 19
The oil dispute
It may get worse yet as South America seems to be the new CV19 hotspot.
Hopefully can ride this out tho , but very surprised to see a drop today
Still, back then we were only producing barrels in the hundreds and a small amount of gas in Louisiana, now we have a good mix of oil and gas.
Can't see the full year results doing much for the sp though, it was another year of struggling for different reasons out of our control. We have got rid of the bottle neck on the gas pipeline to increase the flow rates. But I think we can also expect oil production to have been pegged back as refineries filled to capacity. We will find out in the next week or so
The official line is that whilst the 2014 drilling didn't find commercially extractable oil, it did find oil, and also produce several good leads and increase PPC's understanding of the rock layers there and the techniques required in order to be able to get to the oil. PPC still own rights to a large acreage in Paraguay, the plan was to drill last year but it got delayed to this year, but in all likelihood due to the current virus and economic situation it'll be pushed back again.
From my understanding they are still interested in Paraguay?
It was 35p and drilling exploratory wells in Paraguay. I remember hoping it was going to go 10x from there if the drilling campaign was a success. If only I had sold out then!!! Oh well...
Sub 2 p tho does seem a tad overddone for a company producing 2500 barrels.
Seems a decent amount of gas as well.
robaich we were at one point and higher, remember it well as I'm sure you do and then they hit us with the placing at 35p. That's when the rot set in and it's been down hill all the way with placing after placing, mistake after mistake and dilution has killed sp to where we are now.
Slipmat,
I've been expediting multiple of where we are for a considerable time.
I'm sure Dirs expect this to be 20p, 30p and significantly more some day
Awaiting the annuals and a more detailed update on current production and targets for the year
kind regards
