Any news on Tang. Hope he has gone. He’s a total nightmare.
Still counting the votes?
Out damned spot! Out I say.
May have this wrong but not only be looking at proxy votes, although I used mine and voted him out, but also question as to whether he can use perfectus to vote for himself. Maybe his days are numbered and return of capital from this zombie company. I am well down and would to perhaps break even or small profit for the 15+years my cash has been in here.
Interesting that Tang not re-elected on the first vote. No doubt there will now be scrutiny of the proxy votes to see if there are irregularities in their submission, eg checking signatures, the countersigning of a company seal etc
Was anyone there from this board?
Lets liquidate
Throw the bums out. The Datuk didn't get the votes.
Re-election of Tang not passed yet. Other resolutions passed.
Polo Resources Limited (AIM: POL), the multi-sector investment company with interests in oil, gold, coal, copper, phosphate, lithium, iron and vanadium, announces that at its Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), held earlier today, resolutions one and two were duly passed by poll.
The meeting was then adjourned by the Chairman, in line with the Articles of Association of the Company, to enable a review of the eligibility of certain shareholders' rights to exercise their vote and to obtain certain clarifications that were not immediately available. As a result, resolution three was deferred following the adjournment of the meeting.
When is AGM? BoD need to sell assets now and give money back. Total waste of time.
It says a lot about the Board and the confidence of the shareholders that some are selling ar 3.54p when the NAV is estimated at 13p per share
Will someone please attend the AGM and ask questions
Anyone in the Malaysian/Singapore area intending to go to the AGM ?
Would Phronimus be prepared to attend as proxy?
Tough questions should be asked of the Board
Hoping for substantial uplift in share price over the coming year. Hibiscus petroleum moving up on oil price jump. Prism starts commercial activities this year and who knows GCM might eventually come good. If it doesn't happen over next 24 months then it's probably not gonna happen. More chance mining license will run down and expire. Still remain positive but did think it would be sorted by now. GLA LTH.
Why don’t we simply put the Company into liquidation, sell the assets and distribute the proceeds to shareholders?. Even if we don’t realize the estimated 13p per share, we’ll at least stop paying the Board for whatever they say they do
Looking at final year results the share price is well underpined by the NAV.I think hib pet continues to perform well,it would just be great to see one of the other investments really start to pay off.Lets hope for some exciting news in 2020.GLA long term holders.
Maybe polo will have a decent 2020.Good luck to all other long suffering investors.
At last polo seem to be on a path to get some assets from the crooks. Hooray. Not been a bad year for the company. This coming year we need decision on GCM either good or bad. Hopefully Prism company will start making some money, it's been a long wait. GLA.
Final results should be due around this weekend but, true to form, no date given yet by our Directors. AGM in January. I hope some shareholders will attend or organize a proxy to ask questions
extraordinary rise considering the lack of activity over the last few months. It's not gone un-noticed on the GCM board, there is no price activity over there.
Very consistent 100,000 buys suggesting it's one buyer. Does someone know something we don't...
Gcm related hopefully
A good rise over the last few days
Any reason? Maybe just a reaction from it being oversold, but, hopefully there's some good news ahead?
I suppose that since that third party (can't remember their name) wasn't successful in getting POL to buy back shares there's no hope for us ever realising any value here...Or are we all holding on for something I don't know about?
Today the bid price is 2.52 and the ask is 3.10
Depressing
Seems that we’re all mugs who have invested in Polo and are still holders
Are we now going to throw good money after bad perusing a legal action with little prospect of financial recompense?
We need more information on Mills and his assets
Seems that there is a significant time lag between the he liquidations and the effective write off of the.loan. Also, was it wise to include the outstanding interest as an asset?
I’d like to know how much the BoD have known without disclosing this to the shareholders. Also, have the auditors made provisions in annual accounts?
Bought into Polo because I'd got fed up with being ripped off by dodgy dealings on AIM. I wanted to let someone who knows what he is doing avoid these pitfalls for me. Some chance!
Mind you, Bradford has a strong pedigree.

On a good RNS ?what's happening with polo
