PMO is so unpredictable
POO falls 10%= PMO SP falls 30%
POO rises 5% = PMO SP still falls (in most cases)
POO rises 5% = PMO SP still rises 4% (followed by a SP I fall on the following day).
No sentiment in the market = PMO rises.
No sentiment in the market = PMO falls.
Predicting is the stock is going to rise or fall impossible!

PMO's sp is moving with the price of Brent to a large extent. From memory I think the sp was 30p ish when Brent was $68?
Brent is a tad under $64 now having risen frim $61.30 8am this morning. So $2.70c up.
Oilivia can have her fun. when oil hits $61 WTI watch it pull back strongly.
This looks like PMO is moving down only when oil drops but when it recovers we have the benefit of not dropping more.
.
AND WITH COSTS $1.7 billion. CNE (Cairn Energy) took India to the International Tribunal and won the case. Now India seem to be trying to get off the hook. CNE's market cap is only £900m. Food for thought.
I'm looking for the Indian Government paying, then the sp to more than double...............
All IMHO
why the rise in the oil price??
Not Welsh-your x leader in the EU ?????
LOL!
Going to happen later this year , I am sure of it in Summer......or at least continued targetted strikes by Israel.
Pandemic over and Nearly everything should be open by Summer and so oil prices should shoot up
$100 oil incoming

An oil stock gain of 1.9m, which is close enough to no change by the looks.

Sorry, I don't speak Welsh.

be careful now. $60 WTI is barrier!
Basically you borrow the stock at say 10p, you then sell those shares into the market pushing the price down, once the price drops to say 5p you hope to buy back enough shares to hand back with a average under 10p . The difference being the profit.
So with the new company the borrowed stock will be converted into shares of the new company......... But instead of the shorter being able to move the price with a larger percentage of stock with the Mcap being so low as we have now , that Mcap with the new company will be 20 times greater so the influence of the shorter will be diluted 20 times making it much more difficult to move the price.
I certainly wouldn't want to be short now. Sod that
It has just popped up on Blom that the ship is still stuck!
It will take several days to move this VLCC. She's wedged into the sides and bottom of the canal, and is fully laden. The tugs cannot move her.
She will need builders to chip into the side of the canal and create some sort of moving area but this will take time. The amounting insurance claims are going to be considerable and will hit several layers of the International Pool of P+I Clubs insurance.
SK Poor Research
At 400m long and 59m wide, the ship has blocked the path of other vessels which are now trapped in lines in both directions. The company that manages the container ship, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM), has denied earlier reports that the ship had already been partially refloated.12 mins ago
Massive Jump in PMO Share Price as Oil price surges!
looking for big returns as the recovery continues.
All IMHO.
As I see it when you short you sing a contract when you borrow PMO shares and give them back later. NOT HBR shares
