To buy VTU!
Hedin looks to raise £110 million. I wonder why????
If lookers received such a massive premium, surely their will be bids incoming here again soon?
Now we know. Odey sold 2/3rds of their holding. So sells are dominating. Are the market makers holding loads of stock now? Odey might still need to sell their remaining 3%. Might be a good time to buy. I think price has only gone down because of Odey not because the company is not performing.
Hundreds of trades today. Millions of shares sold???
Is Hedin dumping their stock? Will this be reported?
Some buying…are we seeing the death knell for Pendragon shareholders. Sorry, Hedin didn’t want to buy, they pulled out of their 28p offer after weeks of due diligence. One comment at the time was the pension fund was going to drain profits (words to that effect). Fat cat salary for bosses and bonuses stripping shareholders of their investment.
I’ve been hoping for 28p and I’m now thinking not a chance. Is it worth more than 15p??
Pdg sp is lower now than it was 30 yrs ago, why now growth in 30 yrs ?
SHARE PRICE IS LESS THAN HALF WHAT HEDIN VALUES IT AT, 15.3p
WHY!!
All good at pendragon, so why the share price goes down!!!@!@:!@!>??
pdg looking after customers but how about looking after the share holders, they dont benefit at all, no gains in sp, no div, and even a decrease in capital because share price is rubbish, crazy.
Pendragon's atest management statement doesn't mention shareholders!
Bill Berman, Chief Executive of Pendragon PLC, commented:
"I am delighted to report a very strong performance in the first quarter, which builds on the momentum we generated last year from the progress with our strategic and operational initiatives. We continued to trade strongly in UK Motor, across both new and used markets, and our performance shows the benefits of the strategy we have been pursuing in recent years. It is really encouraging to see all of the Group's divisions in growth, particularly when considering the ongoing challenges in the external operating environment. We are seeing improving signs in the production and supply of new cars and we are focused on continuing to deliver for our customers and OEM partners in the months ahead."
Why the heck does pdg share price keep going down to new lows, wish i had sold mine at 28p 6m ago during the Hedin bid. pdg sp only seems to go sideways or down, and has for 20 or 30 yrs, with the odd boom every now and again due to some take over talks etc, which never amounts to anything, the car market is doing well, it has done well for a few yrs now, so why the decrepid pendragon share price, seems like a tiny bit of bad news makes pdg plummet, whereas tons of good news then the sp only goes up a tiny fraction, if any!..... IS THERE A NEW HEDIN BID ON THE HORIZON, ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING- and when is PDG share price going to ROCKET TO
the moon???????
Doesn't look like a bid is forthcoming. Just hang in there.
Is that 2 x 1million trades gone through, could be something brewing.
Day they pulled out. 9 th December
Does the 6 months start from the day they pulled out or from the day they first announced the possible take over.?
6 months since they pulled out at beginning of Dec 22. Very good trading statements
That would be nice, any ideas why? rumours, ?
Hedin able to re bid very soon!!!
Yes all looks a lot better now, will we see the SP go to 25p-29p again.
Berenberg raises Pendragon price target to 36 (35) pence - 'buy'
Jefferies raises Pendragon price target to 29 (28) pence - 'buy'
Yes, certainly a big drop today - Lookers posted a small rise.
What is going on with this share price, it should be more stable than it is.?
Good results, on the way up again, but no divi this time.
Jefferies raises Pendragon price target to 28 (25) pence - 'buy'
Unless we start getting boycotts/restrictions on Chinese goods, the tie in with BYD could prove a good move. Their cars are surely going to eat into Tesla sales. Even without this, the share price seem cheap and so I have bought some.
Its about time someone lit the blue touch paper and got this share value up where it belongs, if Hedin value it at 35p , why the drop.
