@moniman, well said, I always thought that investers want the share price to rise.
There’s always someone complaining on the BB, if you’re not happy then sell up and move on instead of boring us to death with constant criticism of CF. You guys are like a scratched record!
elrico,
I have no problem with you being a conduit and passing on in good faith to your subscribers snippets or insights that you've gleaned from your sources.
My gripe is that in this particular case your source was the Executive Chairman, who might reasonably have been expected to share this sort of positive news/commitment with ORPH's entire shareholder base, especially given recent 'radio silence' and a background of a declining share price.
HTH
Extrader,
I was nothing more than a conduit between investors and ORPH. On this occasion, the overriding topic was why was the company sitting on a growing cash pile while the shares were being walked down?
Cathal was good enough to answer in some detail.
Even if a BOD was daft enough to share price sensitive information I would not be stupid enough to publish it. It would be a criminal offence. I’d also lose what little credibility I have from members and BOD.
Also, TW doesn't have any shares in ORPH at the moment but he is supportive of CF's plans.

Thanks Bazzaman
This was the response /news I was looking for.
Still not comfortable about learning this 'after the event' , from subscription-based sources, rather than 'planted' in the course of an open format Q and A, available to all...
Cheers
extrader you can rest easy, there is nothing price sensitive in either article. He is saying that the shareholders should be patient and expect more good news in the months ahead.

Might be a tad ambitious! Although, if the 90k buys keep coming through... ;)
Hopefully 50p by close ….lol
25k blocks being bought. Lot's of 'em!
Apparently CF has been talking to TW (*************), hence this teaser :
.."Why no share buyback at Open Orphan?
Some folks are ****ed off at the share price and ask me why Open Orphan (ORPH) does not use some of its cash to buy back shares? I put this to Orphan’s boss Cathal Friel who says....."
and to LemmingInvestor
Hat tip to Judijudi on advfn
.."Anybody who is a subscriber to Lemming Investor/Small Company Champion already had the heads up on the share buy back scoop
https://smallcompanychampion.substack.com/p/open-orphan-plc-35a..."
Not impressed if CF has been releasing potentially price-sensitive info to tipsheets rather than via RNS.
The spread is the issue here. Its masking whats really happening. All smoke & mirrors. We had this scenario from Oct, traded all over the place. Could be the same. Who the chuff knows.
Yes, only 30k sold and over 1 million bought this morning but only up 1p doesn’t make sense.
Likes large round numbers, whoever it is!
Price will never keep dropping until we clear this buying overhang lol
