BTW sausage, apparently until today you have been deramping Oilex. That's in spite of the fact that I can't remember you ever posting anything negative.
Would that be the same Quint who is claiming on Twitter today that he has 100% success rate on O & G plays this year? Was it the same Quint who said (along with Jasper) that Oilex would hit 0.4 ish just on production restarting? You couldn't make it up. Lol.
Roland is a geology graduate from University College London and has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Initially involved in the drilling services sector, he has undertaken managerial roles in most of the active oil and gas regions of the world including West Africa, the Middle East, the North Sea and North and South America.
Leaving his position as Eastern Hemisphere Manager at Teleco Oilfield Services in 1992, Roland founded Integrated Drilling Services in 1992 backed by 3i Group plc.
Roland sold Integrated Drilling Services in 1998 before founding Star Energy, a leading onshore UK oil and gas producer and developer and operator of gas storage facilities. Star Energy acquired and developed gas storage projects in the UK (Humbly Grove, commissioned 2005), Denmark, UK North Sea, Holland and Ireland (subsequently Kinsale Energy under Petronas ownership). Star Energy became the largest onshore UK oil and gas operator in terms of wells and fields (25) and second largest producer after BP with daily production of c. 3500 bopd. Star Energy was purchased by Petronas, the Malaysian state oil company in 2008 and Mr Wessel continued as CEO of Star Energy until late 2011.
Roland jointly managed an oil and gas technology fund and subsequently was EVP at APS Technology Inc. in Connecticut USA before returning to London to found Trans European Oil & Gas. Roland held a number of non-executive positions in the oil and gas sector, including Dominion Petroleum for four years until the sale to Ophir.
Roland has been involved in the development of several key oilfield technologies including the Schlumberger PowerDrive rotary steerable system, multi-lateral drilling systems, electromagnetic prospecting technology and wireline drilling systems. Mr Wessel has participated in several patents and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Not much buying leading into the final day of trading for OEX
I like this guy , he seems to be on the ball , no bull**** , timeline seems to be on track and to the point rns’s. Let’s all hope frac goes to plan , I was in on the last one years ago .
There is always some sort of leak of information at some point.. 30 days max I say.. I would say 2 weeks after frack for results..
Well all have our opinions.. ;-)
Yes, hopefully indicating it’s going beyond just 200m or so, due to improved technology etc.
They have said 7 days for the refrac, followed by 30 to 60 days to flush the well bore and establish a consistent flow rate. They are now saying results in August so it looks like being closer to 30 days. So I would guess definitive results maybe last week in August. Hopefully, they might be able to give an encouraging hint much sooner. Gla.
The process takes about three to five days, on average, to complete from start to finish. Once the fracturing operation is finished, the well is considered “completed” and is now ready to safely produce natural gas.
...I'm anticipating fracing to complete while suspended. This when we can trade again under the new name, a full update on the first day of trading.
It makes sense, why would you sing the praises of a company that then changes its name and AIM moniker? You wouldn't. You'd wait for the new name on the door and then sing it's praises and watch the share price rocket at the start of the new name rather than at the end of the old name.
Great logic, today and tomorrow to take your place at the table
Echo that Gordon - onwards and upwards - exciting times ahead
They have said the results wont be announced until August, probably towards the end but maybe a hint that it all went well would give a boost.
Which is good, unless you're in before the suspension, it will be a much higher price to get in for a ride, in case of success.
So based upon refrac having commended yesterday, if it does take 7 days. Completion rns is due whilst trading is suspended next week at AIM.
Well done SYN, carry on with the good work.
I notice that the refrac has commenced, all equipment now having arrived.
Over 1p I would think
If we are lucky and the refrac gives us the results we would like then we should see the first of two drills towards end of year. Given that DELT have a drill coming up August/September and are at 3p and EOG have a drill coming up August and are at 2.27p. If things go our way what do posters think we might be at by then.
Decamp lol. Do you honestly believe comments on these chat rooms effects the share price lmao. It’s just a comedy board. Nothing serious on here
I’ve never got why people like to moan about the same thing all of the time without changing their habits. I mean for example if you are so unhappy about your job , you moan about it to your colleagues constantly, bringing down others and moral,do you keep on doing all the things that make you so unhappy for so long or…do you look for another job? If you are in an unhappy relationship and after trying all you can to improve things it still isn’t right do you just stay there to keep yourself unhappy or do you move on ??If you are always negative about something you need to change either your mind set or your lifestyle, Other wise you will always be sad , depressed and not be seen in a very good light. Some people go through life thinking they are Victims, nothing is ever their fault, trying to bring everyone down to their level, never moving on and living in the past. It must be a very sad life for someone to think about the negatives of everything all of the time. But in the end it is that persons choice , a very personal choice of whether they want to be sad , angry, depressing, annoying and come across as a very negative person or you move on and change yourself and become a much more likeable person. Do you agree AH?
You certainly are not a fan of Oilex AH.. Why are you here , I assume just to deramp..
Not seen the OEX rocket for a while. Is she still on the launch pad and ran out fuel waiting in neutral and being scrapped lmao.
Way to go Gordon
75% is definitely encouraging. I think the last load of attention/focus in OEX has really damaged the already weak brand. The name definitely needed changing. It also reflects their move towards more sustainable energy. In a way I'm glad there isn't a serious marketing/publicity push right now as this is the time for the results to do the talking. No more hot air.
why would they bother changing the name with the costs and disruption i causes unless they were confident of a successful future to reap the benefits of the new name and marketing.
