30% spread I meant
I'd like to see them close that 30p spread however, I mean wtf !
Can't buy currently either
Looks like the sells are drying up and 2p is coming. News is due soon and hopefully a dividend.
Share price creeping up now.
With mo debt and a good growing income this should be
at least 5p.
I take heart here that there are sufficient buyers buying at a spread of 20%, I have no idea why the spread is always so big but buyers at the top end must see the spread risk outweighed by the positives and see opportunity.
I bought in at 1.20 some time ago and should be a good price as the strong levels of cash should support the sp here
I would imagine that this will be advantageous for GIS office in HK

John Gunn's comments from last Interim Report Nov 2019-
"GIS HK is now operational and soft product marketing has commenced. We had some initial success in attracting both existing customers to the APAC securities markets and local business looking for a global reach. The immediate goal is to ensure that the respective offices support each other and develop with a common strategy. The HK office made a loss of GBP143,000 for the 6 months to September 2019 which was pre revenue, so we will be very focused on seeing an improvement as revenues start to materialise over the remainder of the year"
..and from TU on 12th May
"GIS HK is fully operational and has establish an impressive network of Asia Pacific relationships to offer service to both its London based parent and regional clients. The HK office has contributed attributable income to its London parent, but we hope the year ahead will see it demonstrate its fiscal autonomy as a stand-alone entity, working in cooperation with its parent, but also servicing Asia based clients looking for a global service offering"
Agreed - but i think it's just the spread widening
Nice to see a bit of interest and SP awaken after nearly a month in slumber.
Evening all. I’m invested here and have been for a good few years. With the increased geographical coverage and product offering are we expecting an improved performance since the last update? Market volatility usually sees those offering trading services do well which we have seen with the big players in the ftse.
Of course we are biased as we are invested but what are people’s honest thoughts on our progress? Last proactive investors interview was upbeat.
Share price rising nicely.
Yes the past three dividends have been 0.1p with a view to increasing them as and when profit and cash reserves increase. For some reason nobody wants to buy into a profitable dividend paying company like octagonal though, they prefer to play roulette with the many cash burning lifestyle companies that inhabit the aim ghetto.
Hasn’t the divi been 0.1p the last couple of years?
Another 1.5p in October will do me very nice thank you.
rising stock markets and lower £/USD. means more profits for OCT. this should be at 2.50 IMHO
Not many companies making a profit at the moment. With our increase in sales recently the share price should be going up soon.
I've always been happy to receive the dividend over the past few years, same again in October hopefully.
we have had some great dividend payments form oct.
Estatex why are you still trying to de ramp? Do you want to buy the shares cheaper or shorting?
Any news why DL was (a) ramping the company at 4-5p when the list price was shortly going to be 2p and (b) who told him to ramp that there would be an imminent dividend- later cancelled for years by directors as per their small print clause (c) whether this admission to AIM should be struck off because there was a plan to shortly after admission reconsolidate ownership of the company into a few shareholders hands and back to the control level such that they can do whatever they like including take it private again. In other words it was a completely unsuitable co to allow onto AIM for small shareholders to get involved in
The spread is nearly always false
The spread for one
but the market is basically shut down on this share .
Can hardly buy or sell a bean here .
What is the fekking problem.
