Correct you can buy a lord and lady title for around £50 or less for a few square inches of estate land. Helps keep the estate running. Pretty lame if being used in false nature.
I wonder if this will come back after all.. shares still showing in account but most under new title. Would be no surprise to see this fail. But fingers crossed they manage it and it’s better than many suspect it is..
Sorry Yingtong but that won't do. Not all peers are on HL reg but ALL legitimate peers are listed and their status given on the College of Arms website. Download is free. This includes all legitimate hereditary and life peers including those hereditaries who since 1999 have not been able to be on the House of Lords register. Our dodgy duo are not there. There are indeed 2 lord Stevens, one is even a David (perhaps that gave our chap the idea) but that David is the very well-known publishing and finance tycoon, baron ludgate. Alas no Mavis nor Teresa. Our unlikely lord and lady seem to have bought their titles on the internet. These are usually 'lord of the manor of an inch square of glencoe' or wherever and cost about 50 quid. Google 'highland titles' if you want to join the aristocracy. Is it important. I woul say yes, because if someone is contributing 2 million quid to a business run by people pretending to be a Lord and Lady it probably sets off a few warning bells. Fantasists or what? Taken with the number of years this company has been treading water, indeed sinking previously and the lack of success of a previous raise and all I can say is that I want the phone numbers of all the punters daft enough to invest in this, as that list is a hugely better investment than Guardian.
Not all Lords are eligible for the upper chamber.
I don't understand you some off you guys from positive to negative from negative to positive ****ing make your mind up. It's money we wrote off let's see what comes relax.
How come the Stevens are called Lord and Lady at Companies House, but they don't appear on the House of Lords register?
How come Gary Smith was allegedly a Petrofac insider, when Minty was pushing gas to wire, and he is now a security expert?
The Stevens have been flogging this dead horse for 10 years or so, and it is no surprise the Company has not raised the money. According to a Daily Mail puff piece as long ago as 2013 the Stevens were 'due to make millions' from the barriers, and I would hazard a guess that this crock has been doing the rounds ever since. This is not the first fundraising the Stevens have done for Guardian, and the last one clearly failed to transform the business so why should this one, even if they find anyone mad enough to support this latest nonsense.
Gary Smith has all the right contacts as does others in Guardian. This could rock and roll in a few years time. Silly to take chump change on the opening unless your really stuck for a few hundred quid.
When I worked in the Falklands, the military handed over most of its security measures to ex military personnel who were called SERCO. Who knows where this new company that we have all signed up to will lead us to. Getting involved with the military and any future military contracts is not to be sniffed at.
Very true wookie. Whilst it is unpalatable the fact remains that nuog had become insolvent many years ago and was only carrying hope value until that ran out.
Taxi was quite right. Existing holders are, in effect, getting a 23% free ride in a new venture.
As much as minty is a complete looser and crook, the share coming back and the factors surrounding it isn’t related to him. The existing structure needs to adapt to the new company, in effect any shares / money held in NUOG should be considered lost.
Any investment you made and lost was in NUOG alone and they failed. Guardian has provided a chance to revive some holding again.
Had my time being annoyed with minty. What they did was criminal. But none of it is Guardians fault or responsibility.
LTH have been well land truly shafted again by Minty, who is minted !
Well if whatever they’ve done is anything to go by then it’s implying a listing price of 0.08p - 0.1p.
Which at 40:1 is absolutely nearly pointless for LTH. Yet, better than nothing. But pretty damn close to nothing.
Wookie, you are right I will come back when they sort it, HL clearly not sure what to do.
yes it is weird I have a share account with 760,000 shares and that still shows 760000 and a value of £228 the 1m in my trading account have now disappeared so seems HL and brokers do not yet know what to do.
Conrad appears it’s just not been correctly finalised, in another account also had a just over a million shares, showing still as a million shares, 95% down and £300 showing with H&L, but H&L also informed that that 1m Is now approx 25k via email now as taxi just said with the 40:1.
I would wait until listed to know for sure. We don't actually know if it’ll come back 100%, we don’t know at what price, so imagine it’s just a case of everyone’s holdings being inputed into the system in readiness.
Hi are you sure you have the correct figures. 40:1 would mean your 1Mil would be 25000 shares
my 1m shares now in my trading account but now showing as 100k @ 0.03 worth £30 and down 96% well that was worth the wait????
I was thinking when it did not appear as quoted under the publisised ticker whether Guardian had changed or varied the ticker slightly and therefore I needed the new one to see the alleged quote. When the man answered that the quote was the same I realised its not been quoted yet.
Apologies taxi, I thought you were querying what the ticker was tended to be.
GGS is the code, RNS on NUOG website
Its not open and its not trading, these are just individual brokers playing or tweaking their systems pending the imminent relist. Everyone knows its coming back including the brokers, price will be whatever it will be. I aint selling for 2 years just like Stevens
No sense, showing 0.037p! So very low relist price if so taxi? still showing original share count and not 40:1 imagine will probably be updated corrected soon.
Makes no sense, too hard to fathom, my HL showing my 1m shares as costing £278 ( I wish) and valued at £300
Showing on my HL account as Nu oil at a relist price of 0.03
I should add that were it to be requoted at the mooted 0.080p I wouldnt be inteested in selling anyway so its a moot point
