tree shake as drop in share price was on low volume now thwe mm have some more shares at a great price dont be scared into selling as always dyor.
profit taking i think
A shame this is dropping fast , hoped we would see £2.80 before any retrace. NTG still doing well hope they lift again on results in November.
yep certainly is a tortoise this one but am very pleased to see the steady climb back up...how's the pf on the falklands oilers. Took a fair profit a couple of weeks back on RKH myself which I have just lost + more these past few days (on paper anyway), exploiting the opprtunity to average down now but not a good end to the week!!
I'm just above B/E so hoping the trend will carry on up! Slow and steady, this one has always been my tortoise share ;-)
almost back to break even myself - patience as always!
Looks like she's holding up well!
Just watching the miners rescue in chilli, makes all the shares worries seem so insignificant ... have a nice day everyone.
thanks, hope he has all the success at Northgate. Motorhome travel sounds fun. I can only dream of having 6 months off, lol (got a day job) Enjoy your travels and drive safe!
brother still happily employed by northgate.no bad news to report.at present and for next six months Ime and wife in motorhome travel on costas but no sign of northgate logos here they all hire cars.atb.
Just doing a bit of research on the financials and i have to say NTG is looking very good. Admittedly i didnt know much about the company when i bought last year (was new to trading) but now i'll keep these locked away in my ISA for another 6-12 months.
same here, today was the first time i saw a northgate van.
Funny you should say that I've held the share for just over 12 months - not seen a northgate logo on anything, until the last couple of weeks now i'm seeing them all the time, can only be good.
Are we due some good news? Had these a long time since the "dash to trash" period and I've certainly seen more Northgate logos in the Warwickshire area.
Hi, does your brother still work for NTG? if so would it be possible for you to get an insight in to the business health. Thanks you for your input the last time, it was reassuring.
Northgate have done the right thing, re branding under one name is a great idea, people are seein the name more often now!! I know there is a shortage of vehicles to hire out there and NTG put there prices up months ago now all other hire companies are following, Hold on there as i can see next lot of results being fab, Keep in a draw for a few months, good luck
similar story, was tempted to sell when it dropped below 2 but always thought 2.70 was a good price to invest so have sat tight... rock on NTG
simiar story, must say I came very close to selling too when it dipped under 2.00. Going to continue to hold for now, best of luck
Its been a very positive recovery in the SP since the last set of positive results. I was thinking of selling a few months back at a 40% loss but thanks to some advice of some kind people on this board i held and now only 17% down.
left this one in the bottom drawer since buying in at 2.70 and watching it drift to the 1.80's
is key in investing well done to all that kept there nerve gla.
Patience paying off in this one since RI, am also in for the long hold, skimming high sells at during the year previously but keeping core holding.
Going well today!
