Decided to catch this one. Just seen my modest buy is given as a sell ! Never mind ,Harry Nimo, the veteran guru of the Standard Life UK Smaller Companies fund keeps buying NFC shares on the basis that NFC is orientated towards the tech giants such as "Google,Facebook and Amazon which are growing quickly and should boost Next 15's future returns". So as ever in this game fingers crossed. GLA. JJ
Any views anyone?
Still represents decent value looking forward with forecast expansion overseas and a consolidation of newly acquired Incredibull. Trading update Next Fifteen Communications Group plc, the digital communications group, is pleased to report that the positive start to the new financial year seen at the preliminary results in April has extended to the first five months of the period. Driven by continued strong revenue growth from our North American businesses, the period has also seen sustained margin improvement in the UK and Asia as the Group’s work to simplify its non-US operations progresses. In terms of business development, the recent acquisitions of Animl, Encore and Morar in the UK are making a growing contribution. The Group also announced on 2 July 2015 that it had acquired the brand-marketing agency, IncrediBull, which will become a part of Text 100 next year. Next 15 has now made four separate investments to strengthen its UK business in the last seven months. Elsewhere, we have accelerated our plans for Agent3 to enter the US market in the current year after achieving early success in Europe. Since the year end the Group has added notable additional business from Google, Unilever and Carnival Cruise Lines. These wins, combined with the performances noted above, put the Group in a strong position to deliver on the Board’s expectations for the year to January 2016.
Impressive results.
NFC recently and ASW today may look cheap at current prices in 12 months time. Almost 100% up since last year...
Director buys and AGM approval of dividend, nice to see this and ASW gaining recently. 2014 earnings are expected to be higher than 2012 according to Edisons recent note
Of interest for anyone looking to build a stake prior to ex-divident date 8th January 2014. "A final dividend of 1.925p per share (2012: 1.735p) has been proposed. This has not been accrued. The interim dividend was 0.625p per share (2012: 0.565p), making a total for the year of 2.55p per share (2012: 2.30p). The final dividend, if approved at the AGM on the 21 January 2014, will be paid on 7 February 2014 to all shareholders on the Register of Members as at 10 January 2014. The ex-dividend date for the shares is 8 January 2014."
Yes that's how I read it. Edison released a note explaining the past year's events. Looks relatively cheap considering revenue is expected to jump from £96m to £102m with pre-tax profits rising from £7.7m to £9.8m. Accounting issues at its Bite subsidiary wiped out c £1.6m apparently. Net debt down by £0.8m to £1.8m in the past year.
Not so bleak after all think the big fall was over reaction as the RNS proves they still made money while having a changing year. Happy with that.
Could be more news afoot. Blackberry Deal???
guys.. Sorry I had to sell as was only a short term trade for the blackberry details, which didn't pan out as i'd hoped. GL all that are in.

Record revenues but adjusted profits below previous year. Could have also done with contract amount for blackberry contract. Let's see how market.reacts.
Next Fifteen Communications Group plc Pre-close Trading Update Next Fifteen Communications Group plc ("Next 15" or "the Group"), the digital communications group, announces a pre-close trading update for the year to 31 July 2013. The results for the financial year 2013 are due to be announced on 5 November 2013. Next 15 expects to report record revenues in line with management expectations while adjusted profits will be modestly below the previous year, following continued restructuring at Bite and investment in the Group’s digital capabilities. Thanks to new client wins and the investments made, the Group anticipates good progress in the financial year just commenced. Next 15 has seen strong performances from its North American agencies, with the exception of Bite which was mentioned in the interim statement. This agency had operational challenges and changes in senior management, which reduced its profitability. Elsewhere, the Group has invested in adding digital talent and skills to many of its agencies and also invested in the launch of Agent 3, a data-driven digital marketing agency, which has already secured contracts with some blue chip clients and is moving towards profitability. During the year, the Group also added Connections Media, a digital public affairs agency based in Washington DC, which is performing to plan. The Group’s pure digital agency, Beyond, has invested in the development of software platforms in response to client demand. While depressing profitability in the short term, these investments are creating scalable products which should enable the businesses to grow faster in the next few years. During the period, the Group has won new major clients including Blackberry and Virgin Management Group. The Blackberry account covers multiple territories and services and its scale means that it will be one of the Group’s top three clients. The Group also expanded its relationships with several of its top customers including Facebook and Google. Richard Eyre, Chairman of Next 15, said: “The financial year 2013 presented a number of new opportunities and operational challenges for the Group, which the management team reacted quickly to address. I am pleased to report to shareholders that as a result of its focus on digital transition, the Group has continued to win and grow business with significant clients, maintaining its consistent record of annual revenue growth. Our financial resources remain sound and the proven strategy of investment in digital transition will continue in the current year.” Next Fifteen Communications Group plc
