Gavster-NBC .... stalker!!!!!!!!!! See you on JCGI, HEFL and JUP threads soon .... ;)
Switched only this week from Bluefield (share issue looming which if like the last time will be at a discount to current SP) to here, and very pleased I did !
Temple - I think this the third of fourth crossover in our portfolios.
Cheers and GL.
Hold a good chunk of these ,love the steady divi and its increasing which is great and just keep reinvesting them , not sure why it hasn't moved up higher as mentioned but would be nice to head north.
Divi increase ... nice .. this is the only renewable left behind with the Ukraine war spike in renewables that I can see .. anyone know why?
But not so much the wider (fossil fuel) energy trusts. What's the cause?
Yes ex dividend should have dropped to 100.0 to sell but is presently 100.84 to sell effectively 0.84% up. FSFL also up by the same amount.
**** me.. 2 days ago sold fsfl for 100.50 average and bought nesf fo 101.80 ...total shares bought 26.000 :))))) today all upside down
Just realised its ex div today
So NESF report an increase in NAV to 104p and the SP drops ?? This market is stooooooooooooooopid
Well managed fund with increasing NAV and consistent dividends. Constantly expanding and now diversifying into storage which goes hand in hand with solar.
I have FSFL,NESF, nothing really between... NESF has the slightly higher % Divi.
As these are some of my Pension stocks, I like the different payment periods & dates.
3,6,9,12 = NESF
2,5,8,11 = FSFL
Could add in, another set of options = GCP,JLEN..
Can't separate them so holding both, hedging my bets & collecting two nice dividends instead of one.
which one is better
FSFL or NESF ..and why?
In the meantime, we should be getting news of the next dividend payment here soon.
Hi Edwina, I'm invested in JLEN. Still waiting for notification of my allocation following the recent raise. I'm in here too but not heard anything about a raise in the offing. However, it's the nature of Investment Trusts such as this to take advantage of investment opportunities as they arise, and so there will always be the possibility of a call for funds. I retain an element of the dividends I receive to cover any such opportunities to add cheap shares. Good luck with your investments. K
pardon me for asking, however, was there talk of possibly a raise at some point in the last few months? Look at what JLEN has done after that has cleared. Whatever happens this does look like good value and you cant go wrong around these prices, but looking to add more if the chance arrives.
Fingers crossed.
Rising energy prices and continuously increasing PF of assets could we be looking at a higher NAV and a premium to NAV ?
What about dividends ? rising with inflation with greater cover which can be reinvested without capital raising further increasing NAV or am I asking too much ?
I just like this investment trust and its still a way off its high's
Always moving forward with investment in a sector with increasing customer prices. Will be adding more over the next few years to offset my own increasing energy prices.
