"badly lacking in the research dept...." Don't know about you but this is all the research I need. The year 2016 thus far . . . Jan SP - approx. 0.07p Jun SP - approx. 0.027p Loss of some 61% in share value in just 6 months ! Jan - shares in issue - 6,981,874,882 Jun - shares in issue - 10,098,253,604 Increase of approx. 45% in just 6 months Just 2 questions . . . 1. When is the next discounted placing? 2. When is the inevitable share consolidation?
You are asking the wrong questions Mr Magic.....say no more....
"You are asking the wrong questions Mr Magic" Experience of companies engaged in discounted share issues tells me I am not. Always ends the same way. Placing, placing, placing, at ever lower SPs and ever higher volume of shares issued and then a share consolidation to "reset" everything and the whole cycle rinses and repeats. Your endless cut/paste of news items and "jam tomorrow" sound bites isn't going to change the fortunes here. The SP has been decimated and continues to fall. There may well be future jam, but investing early for it just exposes your holding to the dilutions so by the time any jam arrives you are already well down and playing catch-up. This is imo now a traders share which will be spiked before each subsequent placing.
Orslega - we've hearing and watching for over a year now. Mr M is right and it's hard believing anything will come good of this any time soon. I'm invested heavily here, 80% down and would love to see it recover! Just seem to get nothing but placings!
A lot of us invested heavy in here. NCT is not the only Co who have had to do discount placings.. You and labrat go on as if it's just RC doing this. If you are invested as heavy as you say, please contact RC and have a blast at him? I do.. I wont post all his comments, but as Orslega says, there's much going on behind the scene ATM and over the next few weeks I'm very confident we will start to get regular, rich news flow through.. Orslega : It's obvious you know more than can post.. Please keep up good work :-))
Yes, always very important to keep a regular dialog going with the CEOs of companies you are invested in. Generally I find CEOs are interested in their shareholders. Anybody read RNS's properly? So what about Mexico update ago RNS'd 7 weeks ago; does anybody think those discussions might be closer to fruition?? imo Mexico is the focus/prize for Northcote, this strategy takes time to have a meaningful impact....let's see. From RNS 20/4/2016 Business Development Update Abraham Achar, Northcote Vice President responsible for the development of new business opportunities in Mexico, has focused on leveraging existing relationships to develop opportunities outside the remediation business in the downstream sector of Mexico’s energy industry. To this end, Northcote is in discussions with US based providers of services to the downstream oil and gas sector regarding various potential business opportunities, joint ventures or potential acquisitions for purposes of addressing the opportunities in Mexico. Mayan Drilling Fluids remains a critical component of Northcote’s long term strategy both for participation in Mexico’s upstream sector, but also as a platform to leverage into non-oil price dependent, secular growth opportunities in Mexico resulting from the energy reform, including remediation, and potentially other services, within the retail fuel distribution business. Northcote Managing Director Randall J Connally said “We continue to believe that Mexico is a major part of Northcote’s future growth and are excited to be moving forward again with respect to completion of the remediation facility. We are committed to Mexico for the long haul and plan to leverage our existing investment and operations to build a substantial business providing services to the Mexican energy sector. " imo
The usually "lack of research" riposte with no substance other than vague promises of good things to come. He looks after himself nearly $500k in pay in the two years of published accounts suggests he is looking after himself quite well. Dilution after dilution does not need explaining, where is the badly lacking research in this statement? Looking forward to seeing your deep, intense research that disproves the statement as you have claimed that it is off the mark.
Stuy - "NCT is not the only Co who have had to do discount placings.. You and labrat go on as if it's just RC doing this" Not true at all. My last post clearly states that I have experience of other companies willing to undercut PIs with discounted placings, but either way that is no excuse for any company to behave imo. If the company is not looking after shareholders then it should not be listed at all. The signs I have observed when placings are coming in any AIM company is nearly always the same. You get lot's of large round trades appearing (in advance of the placing), then lots of "update" style RNSs from the company, an increase in board ramping from the resident crew working it, and lots of "I just had a cheeky top up" posts from the same people to create the illusion that it must therefore be safe and a good idea to top up at this point. You also tend to see a bunch of new aliases suddenly appearing to join the promotion. It really gets old TBH.
